We just loved the whole Chateau Vaudreuil experience from having the front door opened for us, greeted by a lovely staff member in the beautiful foyer (sorry I don't remember her name), checked in seamlessly, and shown to our room. The bed was sooo comfortable, absolute luxury,, honestly, we didn't want to get out of the bed!! We had our 42nd wedding anniversary dinner in the restaurant and once again, just stunning. We couldn't have chosen a more special place to celebrate, and our three nights stay will be with us for a long time to come.

This was my first Motel experience, and quite frankly I didn't know what to expect... But the rooms were surprisingly comfortable, and quiet! Being able to just reverse the car to the front door (essentially) to load/unload the car makes traveling and boarding such a breeze. The Motel was really close to a bunch of restaurants, shops, and gas stations too! We also enjoyed the chairs+ashtray out front to be able to sit and see the meteor showers at night. Really nice overall experience, thank you.

A dormitory town for Montreal overspill.

A dormitory town for Montreal overspill. Population about 40,000. You can buy anything at the malls. Plenty of choice for eating out. Walks around the lake/river. Lots of nature especially for bird lovers. OK for 2-3 days but a little boring for a longer visit because it is a suburb and lacks the character of the big city. Everything in Vaudreuil depends on the car and it is not a place for mooching around.

We loved the ambiance, small village feel versus Montreal. very interesting area - Tunnel, Centrale, cottages, Bistros, historic churh. We needed more time to let everything sink in. We will be back.

Spacious, very clean, very comfortable room, & peaceful. The café provided us with very good breakfast foods & snacks. The whole hotel was very clean, in excellent condition & the location was perfect for what needed. I definitely would recommend staying there.

1st I booked this motel thru Booking.com 2 days at a cost of...

1st I booked this motel thru Booking.com 2 days at a cost of $472, I am not sure who checks this motel for structure, the parking lot is full of potholes and room could be better, my 1st room toilet was not working no water with dirt dust at all then I went to the office showed me another room not better, then showed me another after I was tired to continue but the next morning i went to the bathroom bugs on the floor dirt mold, tv working but no cable just snow, I brought to the attention of the owner, He told me I was complaining tot much for the rooms he showed me for almost $500 for 2 nights, screw this some city inspector should check out this motel for everything including bugs which by the way when I got home I have a few bites on my legs I notice there before all this started on my trip, i would not recommend this motel to anybody and you do go to this place get a tetanus shot before staying there

Chateau Vaudreuil is an excellent spot for and wedding, which is what brought us here. Its expansive, lush, and well maintained grounds offer beautiful views of a lake, complete with geese and herons. Guests can enjoy the tennis courts and have free use of bicycles and kayaks. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is excellent if somewhat expensive. The decor is somewhat gaudy -- lots of mirrors, chandeliers, oriental carpets -- but seems fitting for a place that specializes in weddings.

The back yard leading to a waterfront sitting area could have been better maintained. In my opinion, there should have been a walkway to this area and the chairs could have been cleaned, making it more inviting. There was a pool but it was not available to us.

One of the finest resort with reasonable rates during off...

One of the finest resort with reasonable rates during off season. On the shores of lake of two mountains just outside Montreal is quiet and picturesque location for vacation. Shopping areas and several eating places are minutes away. There is a large outlet mall with designers shops.
