- From $179.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 855 reviewsThe Auberge is an exceptionally attractive facility imaginatively planned and architecturally interesting. Our room had a generous balcony (shared with the room next door). Everything was first-rate, and the personnel were exceptionally helpful. Plenty of convenient, on-property parking and short walk down to the edge of the large lake.Guest review byNewellUnited States

The Cape Shrine is a beautiful and tranqualizing pilgreamge place. The Le Temps D'une Pinte is a good place to finish the day with good food, good local beers, and good service. Unfortunately and fortunately, we expereinced the first snow of the year and so could not go on foot to enjoy the history of the buildings in the downtown area, but then the snow added the beauty to the city.Guest review byLOUIS YAN HINHong Kong - 6.0

Did not stay long enough to visit or appreciate the city and its surroundings. Did not visit any attractions. I was in Shawinigan just for sleeping accommodation. My activity was in 3-Rivers but could not find any accommodation closer than Shawinigan (40 min away). Road system to get to Shawinigan is very good and fast.Guest review byGillesCanada - 8.0

I had a wonderful time at this chalet!
I had a wonderful time at this chalet! It was my first experience sleeping in a wooden cottage in the jungle, and I absolutely loved it—I’d definitely do it again. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the overall management was excellent. The price was very reasonable, especially considering all the extras. The host took us on a canoe tour to see the beavers at a very friendly price, and later that night—since the sky was perfectly clear—he offered a free stargazing tour, which was absolutely breathtaking. The toilet was shared, but it was always clean and seemed to be sanitized regularly. The barbecue and cooking facilities were great, and when we arrived, the host told us we could use the kayaks for free, which we thoroughly enjoyed! There were also fun yard games set up for both kids and adults, adding to the charm of the place. The design of the area was also lovely—you could feel that every single item was chosen with intention. Most of the items were handmade or crafted from natural materials, which added an authentic and cozy touch to the whole experience. I strongly recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique nature getaway. I genuinely wish I could give more than 5 stars!Guest review byHamidrezaCanada - 10.0

Trois-Rivières is a charming town just between Quebec City and Montreal. It has that old Montreal feel. Rue des Forges is a nice location to walk along the water. It has many restaurants to choose from. Very nice atmosphere.Guest review byLynnCanada - 10.0

Saint Roch is little more than a crossing with a few houses, but the location along the St. Maurice river across the national park is excellent. The islands that dot the bend are very nice and a reliable place to watch beavers at work just before sunset. The national park is worth the trip, and the Hébergement de la Montagne St-Roch a perfect place to enjoy it all.Guest review byMatteoGermany - 2.0

Hi, Despite my hopes, Trois-Rivers was really a disappointing place, since generally everyone I met, at any business, from the Travelodge-Trois-Riviers, to the restaurants, to the car rental place, were friendly but unbelievably incompetent to the point of being really harmful! Pls see the photos on Travelodge attached. Due to abundance of incompetence of personnel, and troubles even in the most simple matters, I changed two hotels, as they were run-down and run by people who looked and acted as though totally unconscious or on heavy drugs. From the taxi to the hotels, to the car rental, they were the worst I have experienced in Quebec, in Canada, and even in the 3rd world trips. Broken and filthy was the standard of just about any service that was offered. I never thought such a place could exist in North America, but there they are!Guest review byFaraday
