Toronto is a great city. There is always something to do when you are there. Bring a comfortable pair of sneakers, you can walk to everything you want to see. I would not recommend driving around town. Traffic is very congested. There are several options for public transit if you want to get around.It is very busy, so be prepared for a crowded sidewalk. The CN tower is a must see on a clear day. It is expensive to visit, but if you use credit/debit you get the best exchange rate.

Clifton Hill was unique. Definitely a must if you bring kids. The sky wheel was awesome at night. You're able to see the falls from the top. Be prepared to spend a lot of money at Niagara in general. We also spent some time at Niagara-on-the-lake. It was beautiful!

Ottawa is Canada's capital and hosts a ton of museums. You can visit Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court and the many museums. We visited the Canada War Museum (free on Thursday nights) and the Aviation and Space Museum. I can highly recommend both! Ottawa is very green and has numerous parks and trails along the Rideau river and Rideau canal, which are excellent for bicycling, running or walking. The highlight of Ottawa is in the winter when the Rideau Canal turns into the largest skate ring in Canada. The Rideau Skateway is about 8km long, perfectly maintained and a must to do if you can skate.

We had amazing weather in Kingston—perfect for waterfront walks, enjoying the local cafés and restaurants, and playing tourist. Fort Henry was a great place to explore some history, but a highlight for me was the Kingston Penitentiary tour. Our guides were former staff members, and their stories made it especially interesting. We also enjoyed a relaxing one-hour Thousand Islands cruise.

Travel there was good! However, Google for a variety of reasons estimated the time from the bus-stop to the Hotel on foot to be at least twice as long as it actually was. A simple crossing of an intersection and walking around a restaurant with a shared parking area, was presented as a 12 minute half-mile walk. When it is in reality about half that! The same for the walk between the hotel and a gym with an adjoining property.

Niagara on the Lake is a very nice quaint town. A lot of nice restaurants and shopping venues. Parking can be an issue. Lots of wineries in the area with tasting rooms. Some of the wineries make Ice Wine and some don't. We were there 2 nights but could have stayed another night to see the countryside. We ate at Bistro Six One, It was good. We also ate at The Irish Harp Pub. Very Good

Huntsville is a really nice place to visit. I go there often when we are in Algonquin Park. This last trip though was just to see the fall colors, and although the colors had already peaked, it was still spectacular! There are lots of nice places to eat.. I recommend "On the Dock" in the summer, which overlooks the lake. I also really like "Chuck's Roadhouse", but there are just so many choices! There's loads of shops , for a little retail therapy, and beautiful views everywhere you turn.

We were with friends and celebrating our 35th and their 54th wedding anniversaries. Both couples spent a part of their honeymoon visiting Boldt Castle and the 1000 Islands however, on the US side. We arrived at the Comfort Inn Friday night, Oct 2, 2026, because we had an early boarding on Oct 3, 9:30 am for the cruise. Not knowing any restaurants, our first night we went to the Maple Leaf restaurant. Good but not really our style of food. On Sat we had our continental breakfast at hotel (free), really good food. We could have walked down to marina,(10 min walk) however, our friends had some difficulties with walking a lot, and wanted to save the walking for Boldt Castle. So we drove down, (2 min) was 9$. really good price for the day, as we took the 5 hr. tour. Need to bring your passport, as Boldt Castle is American. On our return we had our lunch on boat, hotdog, chips and a drink. Great quantity and quality of food for the price (10.25) That night we went to Riva restaurant which is a 3 min walk from the hotel. Really good atmosphere and good food. On Sunday we had nothing planned, so we had our (free) continental breakfast, and decided to go visit the Tower that overlooks a great part of the 1000 islands, great views. We then had lunch at Mavericks, really good food, great portions, and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend. Then we went mini putting at the drive in. It cost 8$ per person, was 13 holes, and geared towards children but we laughed so much it was great afternoon. That evening, we went to Muskies Restaurant, they had a very slow day and were going to close early, however, they stayed open for us. The food was great, the atmosphere was beautiful, with a view of the marina. Would definitely go there again. Monday Oct 5th, had our last breakfast, once again very good and then headed home after a really good relaxing weekend.

Jurabinski Cancer Clinic because they saved my wife's(42 years married)life. The Gynocological Oncology Department was second to none. I appreciated the nursing staff they worked tirelessly there. The cafeteria was very clean,the personal were friendly and prompt with my food all 4 visits. The food was delicious and the price point right on.

I visited because I have friends who live there. Whilst there was some concern that there wouldn't be much for us to do we easily filled our days. Depending on your interests there is so much to see from the waterfront sculpture gardens to the many venues to watch comedy, music, sports and of course the movies. We played mini golf in a variety of locations, visited Point Pelee, ambled over Gordie Howe Bridge. I was taken to see my first ice-hockey game, something I could easily go and watch again. Food wise the choice is endless. If you have any dietary issues everywhere we ate checked for allergies. We ate all over the place from mall Mexican to The Red Lobster . Everything was well prepared and delicious. I can't comment on public transport as my friend was my chauffeur, however if you are driving yourself despite the roadworks it seemed fairly easy to get around even when there was a lot of traffic. Again although I travelled to Windsor alone I was not alone when I arrived. I would steer anyone who is alone to pick up the official visitor guide for Windsor as it gives so many options of places to stay and eat and things to do.
