A pleasant hotel with a Jacuzzi in the room and a wood-burning fireplace in the room. There's also a hot tub outside, which feels like a fairytale in the cold. There's also a heated saltwater pool. We brought our own robes, but they're included. The hotel is located near the center of a small town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We reserved a smaller room but it was still spacious and very quiet. The continental breakfast was excellent, lovely hard boiled eggs, excellent Montreal style bagels that were enough to justify a return visit. The restaurant is top notch, quiet, excellent food and service. It would be easy to never leave the property but Ste Anne has a lot to offer, especially the ski or bicycle trails on Le P'Tit Train du Nord. We look forward to being regular guests! We came looking for snow in a bad time for snow but were happy to have two days of cross country skiing despite bad conditions.

This is not my first visit. Richard the owner/manager is a magnificent host with exquisite taste. He is friendly, caring and humble. He also served delicious breakfasts.

Chalet au bord du lac is set in Saint Adolphe D'Howard. The property has garden views. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.
