I found the hotel a few days before the trip. It had to be close to where my daughter was competing. The hotel exceeded expectations. We had a 2 bedroom suite, kitchen with all the cooking supplies, utensils and more. That's important to us. And the price surprised us.

Avoid booking on this site.

Avoid booking on this site. Both the site and hotel have poor costumer service and no communication with each other. I booked for a room but the hotel gave us a different one and the room we paid for was much more. The hotel staff didn’t receive communication on the booking so our room was given to another costumer. We were unable to given much help or receive refund. Very poor costumer service on both ends.

The downtown bars and restaurants are fun, if you can find a place to park. The city has more overpasses and on/off ramps and last minute exits than most, so make sure your GPS is working and your copilot awake.

Very good access from the highway but no grocery store.

Very good access from the highway but no grocery store. There was a very small coffee maker that didn't work which was ridiculous. The room was very well laid out with the beds in two parts. The towels were yellow and the sink smelled bad until morning. There was a big stain on the carpet that we reported to the motel clerk. When we checked out, the clerk had closed the door before 11 and we walked around the building where the housekeeper told us that he closes the door during prayer. Pray well but don't close the door yourself during business hours.

Every year I drive my family from Nova Scotia to Montreal and on our return we often do the first day of driving longer than the second day. Oromocto is a great stopping point if you want to do that. We have stayed at least three times at the Days Inn because it is remarkably nice for what you pay. The restaurant area is surprisingly varied, you´ll find from Starbucks to Jungle Jim. I didn´t know that the main employer in Oromocto is the 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown, but it makes sense because the housing looks very nice, and feels very new and clean and surprisingly modern which makes it nice to look at!

it was easy to navigate with a car, limited traffic but not enough to do there for any length of time. I guess the time of year was a factor and there would be more to do later than may. I was there for the marathon which had disappointing aspects as well
