I found the hotel a few days before the trip. It had to be close to where my daughter was competing. The hotel exceeded expectations. We had a 2 bedroom suite, kitchen with all the cooking supplies, utensils and more. That's important to us. And the price surprised us.

Fredericton is a great little town.

Fredericton is a great little town. It's easy to get around and there are a number of excellent attractions including the Legislature, Christ Church Cathedral, Beaverbrook Art Gallery and The Playhouse (all downtown and within sight of each other). The Saturday Farmer's Market is also close and should not be missed - wonderful local products and food trucks. The riverside walking trails and the pedestrian bridge across the river that links the trails are a must. The bar/restaurant scene is vibrant with lots of music on the weekends, including the many outdoor summer festivals and events held in Officer's Square. The Hunting Zone simulator on King St and Picaroons brewery are well worth visiting.

Nice city to visit.

Nice city to visit. Suggest the city market and perhaps a car to do some sight seeing. Great view from Fort Howe and the Saint John sign. "Italian by Night" was a fantastic restaurant. The sea food pasta was a 12/10 !

Edmundston is a lovely little city.

Edmundston is a lovely little city. Beautiful views of the hills and landscapes. Driving was easy and the place is very walkable. It has a bridge to the US if you wanted to go. People are friendly and there are a few places to choose to eat. There are a few spots to get some great pictures but be aware that street parking is only 2 hours and we saw the parking authorities out and about quite frequently. There is also easy access to the highway. Overall, nice place to lay your head overnight and have a great breakfast the next day...

Tiny home was perfect for our stay.

Tiny home was perfect for our stay. We were traveling through and it was a great value for our short stay. The location was great as it was just outside of town. Very quiet and peaceful and easy to find. Would love to stay again if we are traveling through.

Very good access from the highway but no grocery store.

Very good access from the highway but no grocery store. There was a very small coffee maker that didn't work which was ridiculous. The room was very well laid out with the beds in two parts. The towels were yellow and the sink smelled bad until morning. There was a big stain on the carpet that we reported to the motel clerk. When we checked out, the clerk had closed the door before 11 and we walked around the building where the housekeeper told us that he closes the door during prayer. Pray well but don't close the door yourself during business hours.

New hotel so everything was fresh and clean.

New hotel so everything was fresh and clean. Showers were great and rooms and beds comfortable. We ate there 3 times and although a smaller menu food was good and pleasantly presented. Service was attentive. Great stop over going to St Andrews by the Sea. Our friends had a tiny dog and loved the dog rooms with outside access from the room.

Every year I drive my family from Nova Scotia to Montreal...

Every year I drive my family from Nova Scotia to Montreal and on our return we often do the first day of driving longer than the second day. Oromocto is a great stopping point if you want to do that. We have stayed at least three times at the Days Inn because it is remarkably nice for what you pay. The restaurant area is surprisingly varied, you´ll find from Starbucks to Jungle Jim. I didn´t know that the main employer in Oromocto is the 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown, but it makes sense because the housing looks very nice, and feels very new and clean and surprisingly modern which makes it nice to look at!

Quaint little town.

Quaint little town. Not much to see really and we didn’t see any shops in town. A few restaurants to choose from. We dined at a small pub where the food was pretty good. We wanted to hike at Mt. Carleton provincial park however were not allowed fo because we arrived after 3:30 pm. A little disappointed in this as from what we understood and saw on the map, there were short trails approximately 2 kms long. We’re told the shortest hike was 3 hours long. Not sure it would take 3 hours to do a 2 km hike on a flat terrain trail. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful and the people are very friendly. Will go back if we get the chance.

Fredericton is home to me.

Fredericton is home to me. I could never say anything bad about the city. Lots to see and do there. They have a farmers market on Saturday morning and one downtown on Thursday night. They still have a downtown shopping area and a couple of malls. Restaurants galore!
