Location, spacious and with all you would need for a comfortable stay including a fully equipped kitchen. The Christmas decor and tree at this time of year was exceptional and created that white Christmas experience and magic that’s difficult to create when you are away from home. The children were well thought of. The communication was outstanding. The weather, I know you can’t control, BUT, when it’s snowing outside and you look through the big pane window from the stair landing, well it couldn’t be more picture perfect. I would say the property exceeded our expectations and we will not hesitate to rebook or recommend. Car parking was in a heated garage with easy access to the apartment via 1 small flight of steps.

Our stay at Powder Heights was nothing short of exceptional in every way. The property is newly built but rather than being a modern blank canvas the owners have a great interiors eye and have created a stylish but cozy welcoming home with lots of thoughtful touches. The hot tub is a highlight with the gorgeous views across the forest, you just don’t want to leave. Good quality bedding, a huge open plan kitchen kitted out with every piece of equipment possible and a cosy lounge and TV area with a fire. We would 100% recommend this property and are already planning our return trip!

You can tell when people are doing what they love and they love doing this. Wonderful couple with a great b&,b. Very very clean, you.want for.nothing. Beautiful grounds. Can not say enough, you feel like you are staying with friends.

Location, festive decorations, comfy rooms and friendly helpful staff. Would love to return as Sun Peaks is an amazing place to holiday at, wish it was closer than a 14 hour plane ride plus transfers from Vancouver, away!!!

The warm pool and hot tubs made our mostly rainy summer stay so much better. Nice hotel, friendly staff, we'd come back immediately if the journey wasn't so long from Germany.

Happy a comfortable stay ☺️ the owners were very nice and friendly people. Everything in the room and bathroom were in working order unlike a motel. Breakfast was delicious.

Cahilty Lodge is a 4-star property situated in Sun Peaks. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. All units in the holiday home are fitted with a TV.

Very friendly staff and the rooms were quiet compared to other motels in Barriere. The rooms were spacious and could heat up quickly. We stayed in every motel in Barriere to try them out while visiting family and this one we visited twice as it was so much better than the rest. In total we stayed for 2 nights in 2 different rooms on the second block they have.
