The staff was super nice and communicative to each message we sent. Traveling through Swiss you can't miss this if yo are nearby. In summer September it was nearly empty, which allowed me to work in the lobby in an amazing environment. Wifi was super strong in both the Room and the Lobby. Everything was super clean. The scenery in early morning, when sunrise combines with fog, is absolutely breathtaking.

I liked this hotel very much. A piece of history. Hotel is beautiful with awsome surroundings in good location 20 minutes by car from St. Moritz and not far from Italian border. Interior is like name indicates Palace and I have only few times felt like this inside any place where I had stayed in past. I highly recomend this place. Very comfortable bed. Big room. Nice saunas.

Chiavenna is a beautiful city that's just the right size to walk around and enjoy. The area offers a lot of activities. There are a lot of places to go hiking, or just to walk around town. There's a beautiful waterfall just up the valley. There are also some great restaurants in town.

A classic hotel with history, which alone makes it worth spending the night there. In addition, in a fantastic location that in the past was only accessible to the happy few. The hotel seems to have aged a bit, but the comfortable rooms, grandeur and views make it worth a visit. an excellent place to start mountain tours or bike tours and explore the Engadin.

Simple but nice and clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was good and tasty (one can also get a proper Italian expresso). Parking is available some 50m from the hotel. The village is rather small and there is not much to visit there, however, St. Moritz is some 20min by car, and it is definitely a good option as the prices in St. Moritz are pretty crazy these days.

The most important thing anyone would love is the views travelling from St Mortz to Chiavenna, It is amazing. Good access to public transport, accomodation is very lovely and excellent .. The stay has been simply superb,
A small recommendation, there could have provide more kitchenette items, utensils. Otherwise simply superb.

Maloja is a very nice and beautiful spot near the Malojapass to Chiavenna and Italy. From Malaga, you can easily enjoy hikes, walks, especially during winter time, slopes are in walking distance, and it is very quiet if booked a room at sea side

Chiavenna is a very attractive town in northern Italy, rich in historic heritage and framed by beautiful mountains with a variety of hiking opportunities, and of course good food. It is close to Lake Como and Switzerland with excellent public transport connections.

I asked for a family room for 5 nights, however.
- The room I received was not aligned at all with the pictures available in Booking for a family room: In the family room pictures, the living room was very wide and the bedroom was regular, however I got a family room with a small living room and a very big bedroom, exactly the opposite to my needs. I received the offer to change the room after one night, however, when I asked for the change, the person in reception told me that he had not been informed.
- We booked a family room with 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed, however the room had 1 double bed & 1 double sofa-bed.
- I booked for 4 people, however the room had only 2 bath towels and 3 blankets, I received the pending stuff in my 3rd day, only after complaining by email and in the reception several times.
- Wi-Fi very poor.
Summarizing, a poor experience with a very low value for money.
