It has a fantastic location at the entrance to the beautiful, unspoiled village of Soglio and with the most extraordinary views across the Val Bregaglia to the Bregaglia range and the Val Bondasca. The young staff team are brilliant, incredibly helpful and multi-lingual. The buffet breakfast was good and the restaurant food verging on fine dining. The terrace overlooking the valley on which drinks and restaurant meals are served is lovely. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Simply stunning.

Set in a historic part of Chiavenna, Crimea Wine Hotel is close to the town's famous Crotti caves. Some of its rooms offer a balcony with views of Pratogiano Park. Parking is free.

We stayed here for a night on a bike trip in the area and we couldn’t be happier. Yes, as many say, the rooms are “basic” but for 80€ a night for two, this is excellent value for money! The room is clean and comfortable, and we had great rest. I also recommend to take breakfast, there was a great variety of choices. Safe storage room for bikes was also great. Mostly, we appreciated the kind and super helpful receptionist. We felt very welcomed. We hope to be back and will recommend this place to stay in the area for all our friends.

I loved my stay in the hotel! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and I loved the design! Bed is really comfy and it's REALLY quiet in the room (plus the blackout curtains!). Me and my friends also liked the breakfast and the views from the windows. Staff is super friendly and helpful!

Very cozy hotel with extremely helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights during Engandin Ski Marathon. It was very convinient to get to Swiss by bus (took just 1.5 hour to get to St. Moritz) - the bus stop is just several steps from the hotel door. Madesimo ski resort is just 30 minutes drive by car. Breakfast was good and there was also nice family restaurant nearby. At the day of check out as we were the only guests in the hotel we were served with excelent breakfast for two. The room was nice and clean with comfy beds.

Old charming building in the middle of the ski slopes. Ideal for those who love winter sport. We had a lovely vintage (with history) room with everything we needed. Very pleasant and friendly service, good breakfast. The hotel has restaurant with good cuisine. A bit expensive, yes, but they offer a good discount if you stay 3 night at least.

I understand this hotel/restaurant recently underwent a renovation. A renaissance, really. The rooms were modern, very clean and comfortable. You cannot find a better location to visit the center of Chiavenna or to access the beautiful hiking paths. The restaurant was serving delicious food, and I mean with a gourmet character at reasonable price. The Creamy Zucchini Soup was superb. I cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough.
