Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

It really is the most beautiful hotel in a stunning location. All of the faciliites were lovely in particular the outside swimming pool and I very much appreciated the indoor pool being open 24 hours. Potentially the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and I felt incredibly rested after my stay. Some really thoughtful small touches such as wine/champagne at reception for guests and coffee in the morning to take with you as you start your day. I also loved the gift of a loaf of sourdough at the end of my trip - a very nice touch. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Can't fault anything about my trip at all.

This is the best hotel with the finest service, an incredibly professional staff, and everything is designed for the utmost comfort of the guests. We've never seen such a variety of breakfast options—it's like attending an amazing banquet :))) The rooms are fantastic with very comfortable beds—mattresses, pillows, blankets—everything is top-notch. Great Location to everything. Walk out the door and you are in it! We stayed in room 216 which was on the back alley, but had a forward window and side balcony out of the afternoon sun. A breeze cuts across the room. Al's this room has a little view up the Alps. We were pleasantly surprised. None of the other balcony rooms in the back of the hotel get the cross breeze.

Absolutely everything, Monica at the front desk is simply amazing, Franz (I think) is also the best and happiest host ever. We even had a Germany Fireman test alarm with all the works, smoke, water, rescue. It was an interesting event to live through and see and enjoyed a few free drinks for our trouble. Get the Hop on and Off Bus, 48hr, so much to see and take in. Fantastic market place, Wed and Sat. Magical clock in the main square. Amazing city. Olympic park, especially after dark. Wonderful Munich.

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to. We love GP for a weekend getaway. We always ride the train in and get around by foot (or bus) after we're there. Go in every season...there's always something wonderful to experience.

Beds uncomfortable, terrible pillows, rude front desk staff. Don't think you can have early check in. It cost us $30 euros for each room, and we were stay 2 nights. They will not refill coffee or water for 2nd night. Restaurant and bar don't open until 4 or later if they do. Nothing is close by. They charge you for airport shuttle.

The first thing I noticed upon arriving in Ingolstadt is the cleanliness of the area from the moment I stepped off the train. I had travelled from Cologne through Berlin, Dresden and Nurnberg, stopping a view nights in each place, and Ingolstadt was the best ‘first impression’ of a city I experienced. This continued throughout the 3 days I spent there. The train station is located in a leafy area next to a beautiful park and surrounded by 3 churches. The city has numerous walkways and cycle routes alongside the river and through beautiful gardens. The city is extremely peaceful and had beautiful architecture and many historic buildings and sights. You will find good coffee shops and some of the best traditional food dishes in Germany. I LOVED this place and can’t wait to return.

A beautiful city within a rural setting, with excellent transport links to nearby Lake Chiemsee, the Alps and cities like Munich, Salzburg and Vienna. Nice shops and restaurants with a variety of national and international cuisine. The locals were very friendly and everything was spotless.

The town is small and industrialized. There were few options close to the hotel for dining, although we were surprised with the American menu at the LookOut restaurant at the artificial wave generator at the SurfTown facility, within walking distance of the hotel.

Due to non availability on airport shuttle it was disaster and disappointment. How can you declare holiday in express Munich airport and no airport shuttle. Totally bullshit. Due to this our minimum 1000.00 euro extra expensive as every day we took taxi to go airport terminal to take exhibition bus

Only problem was the train schedule was changed after booking, so it took longer to get there, with less time to spend in the area. The town is not really set up for tourists, car required for efficient getting around in town.
