When you arrived at the breakfast room, your breakfast is waiting for you. The final dessert is something very special.

The food in the restaurant downstairs was outstanding. As I didn't really find any place online that looked like a "must visit", we mostly ate at the hotel restaurant and wasn't disappointed!

The Hotel & Boarding House Schlosserwirt in Mering has been run by the Bader family for 4 generations. The Schlosserwirt combines 100 years of tradition with modern comfort. Lovely and accommodating staff who were happy to stay late for our short notice arrival after a cancelled flight! Rooms were the biggest I've come across in my travels and had all the amenities of a studio flat for a really great price. Great gated parking and an overall lovely atmosphere- would certainly stay here again if I'm ever in the region.

A beautiful, authentic and stylish small boutique hotel, with exceptional, friendly service and delicious breakfast. The hotel staff were very friendly and very professional. They arranged for parking of our car, making check in very easy. They upgraded our room to one facing the square, with spectacular views of the classical architecture and the church opposite. If you want a true "Romantic Road" experience, then you need to stay here. We had dinner at the restaurant also which was truly exceptional. I would happily stay here again.

We would absolutely recommend either of the apartments (Hansel or Gretel). Parking was free and easy.

The room was very cozy, comfortable and had a vintage vibe decor which was very nice. They have a closed parking for bikes which was also great for us since we were riding the Romantic Road by bike. The hotel and the restaurant are beautiful and breakfast was wonderful.

We really liked our stay at Ghotel. We booked a suite and because we wanted to have a nice view on to the city and it was just wonderful. Staff is really helpful and kind, we were travelling with a dog and this was also not a problem for the hotel. The hotel was spotless and they made sure it's coranavirus safe. The fitness facility is really well-equipped. Breakfast was ok, but due to the pandemic was with limited choices.
