It is a small and very cosy hotel with the facilities of a chain. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and big and the breakfast was delicious.

This was our second stay here, this time as a reward at the end of our 2-week bike trip along the Elbe river. We love it here! It's luxurious without being pretentious. Everything is well thought of for your comfort. The staff are friendly and helpful. The spa and sauna are amazing. The food is great. Everything is so easy to charge to your room with the wristbands. It's one of our favorite finds since we moved to Berlin.

This hotel enjoys a tranquil and beautiful setting in the popular Spreewald area. Spreewaldhotel Stephanshof lies directly on a tributary of the River Spree, and on designated hiking trails. The boat ride down the canals a Spree was enjoyable. I wish there had been an English translator but it was real convenient that the hotel could book the trip. We tried Google translator but I guess it couldn't keep up. The food was outstanding and the employees were very understanding of our lack of German.

Everything perfect! Rich breakfast in the restaurant next to the hotel, top location just 8 km away from the train station Vetschau, and 5 minutes from the Spreewald thermal bath, perfect for bike tours. (there is a parking box for bikes) I can recommend the typical restaurant as well, but there are others very good on the same street in case you want to try something else. Stuff very friendly and room perfectly cleaned, everything was great, I would definitely go again.

We stayed in a room located in a very beautiful traditional Spreewald house (the hotel consists of several houses). Very nice breakfast! We visited in the bleakness of November and it was very quiet, which we enjoyed but would be great to also visit in summer when the place is surely more bustling.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Baby cot was provided for free. We had admission to the Badewelt and it was very nice and our baby enjoyed it. As we went there in the second part of the day the penguins were mostly sleeping and not very active but we managed to see some. Overall we are satisfied with our stay. This is a beautiful property in Spreewald, directly by the water. We especially enjoyed having dinner outside in their adjacent brewery. The food was simple but tasty and the Pils was excellent! The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was also very good. One can rent kayaks directly at the hotel or rent bicycles from a location near by. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
