This accommodation was really good and the owners are very hardworking. It's close to the hot springs, less than 5 mins walk, and I felt safe going even at night as a solo female. Breakfast was included and a well appreciated gesture. The shower was very hot and the surroundings are immaculate.

The location is excellent and a good starting point for a tour into the Amazon. Our children and we as parents particularly enjoyed the pool area. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is plentiful and has something for everyone.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although I was the only guest they had I was able to make use of all facilities including the bar. They even opened the kitchen for me in the evening and I got a fresh and tasty dinner. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

The staff at reception were very freiendly and responsive. The parking was behind the hotel making it easy to manage arrival and departure. The breahfast was good and there were many food options close for other meals. The showers had really good water pressure.

I felt like I was the first guest there after the renovation. Everything was very, very clean. The bed was super comfy! Hot water available 24h. The room was warm. It is important because there was a light snow outside in the morning (yes, snow in Ecuador, consider the altitude). The staff were pleasant. There's a restaurant on the ground floor—it has VERY DELICIOUS FOOD and large portions. I loved the breakfasts; you could almost call them lunches (they're not included in the accommodation price, but for $5-10 you can have an excellent meal!) Perfect location, almost near the entrance gate to the Thermal Spa. Big window for the whole wall. A lovely green mountain view from the room, and a stunning view of the glacier from the restaurant (nice to enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate in your hand).

The hotel was a very convenient stay before our trip into the jungle. It was comfortable, the air conditioning was a blessing, and the staff were very helpful. It wasn’t too far to walk to restaurants in the evening though we didn’t stay out late as we weren’t sure about the area.

I went to this property very unwell, The staff we amazing, they actually installed an AC in the room for me to use of if I wanted to, it’s basic, but with all the help they give you it’s a very good choice to stay

We rushed down to Beaza due to altitude sickness, and this was the perfect place to stay. The personal is absolute wonderful and helpful, and the owner speaks English. The kitchen is well equipped. The city center is close by, as well as the area feeling safe.

I liked absolutely everything about Rio Quijos EcoLodge...I would rate it as the best lodge in all of Ecuador...better than all the expensive lodges...very reasonably priced...fabulous birdwatching, hiking trails, beautiful grounds with splendid flowers and gardens, the main lodge, dining area and rooms are all immaculately clean and charming ...the meals are absolutely delicious, healthy, variety, ...best food in all of Ecuador for sure The staff is so welcoming, kind, hard working, accommodating, genuine and happy. The owner Angel made us feel at home...like family..not only an expert birder, photographer...but a gentle, easy going character with a delightful sense of humor Both Angel and his bird guide friend, Omar gave us several days of excellence bird watching...helped us discover endless new species, lifers, and had us laughing and having a grand time. We loved their dog, Kimchee...the most gentle, sweet, caring perro and trail guide... I can't recommend anyone and everyone,families, couples, bird lovers, individuals, white water paddlers or just looking for a peaceful nature get away...Rio Quijos has it all... A five star lodge with very reasonable rates
