Great location, amazing old house. We had to climb up many flights of very narrow stairs to get to our room, but to me it added to the charm. The bed sheets were nice and soft. The room looked clean and pretty. The extra bed sheets could be easily found.

This was a business trip in tourism.
This was a business trip in tourism. However, I could see the beautiful harbour of Kärdla. You can also book a boat trip in the arbour for some hours. I also visit the tourist office in the central of Kärdla and they have very detailed and interesting information about what to do at the whole island (Hiiumaa). Plus they have a lot of informative brochures concerning tourism at the tourist destination Hiiumaa. The island has a long history (for example relations to Sweden and other countries). The big lighthouse in the west of Hiiumaa is really magnificent and you can visit the café and buy some old handicraft products as well. The nature is wonderful, and one can use car, bicycle and bus to travel around the island. There are some cosy restaurants in Kärdla and aourund Hiiumma, even though you have to check the open times. You can really relax and experience the nature and the old history as a tourist in Kärdla.

Small harbour with lovely sea views. Ungru guesthouse is the only thing there though so if you are looking for action then this is not the place for you. However, Hiiumaa itself is very quiet anyway. Hiiumaa attractions and activities pretty much close at the beginning to middle of September so if you are planning a trip then you need to take this into account. Kardla, the capital is the only thing that has anything open, especially for dinner, ended up eating there at the same place both nights. A car is essential.

From £26 per nightThe place was located in a small village between Kärdla and the harbor. The apartment was quiet, clean and the kitchen well equipped. All the rooms were big and roomy and the beds comfortable. We booked three rooms and they gave us the whole 3-bdr apartment, which was very nice. Exceeded my expectations since it was not as expensive as other accommodation on the island but very clean and comfortable. Probably will stay there again when visiting Hiiumaa.

Very interesting sourrounding in a habour. Beautiful and bizzare. The Restaurant is very good and the staff is extremely friendly. The owner gave us back half of the room-rent for a very small problem in the bathroom. We said that is not necessary but he maintained. Thank you for the fantastic evening and your friendliness.

The young lady running the place is amazing. We were allowed to check in early, we forgot some stuff in the house ane she was very happy to help us out in getting it back. The place itself is lovely, we were a couple travelling with our mothers and we had such a great time. There was room enough for everyone to have a private room. We has a fantastic breakfast outside on the terrace, and we enjoyed the seaside thanksvto the private swimming area. You probably need a car or bike to get around the island, but nothing is far away and you can easily reach any point of interest.
