The hotel is situated close to Vitoria and we had never heard of Argomaniz - I'm glad we found it as the surroundings are lovely. The hotel is a very tasteful mix of old and new - a fabulous job. The staff were just great - friendly and very helpful.

This hotel was perfect for us to rest in on our way to the the ferry in Bilbao. It is a lovely old stone house. The bird song in the morning was stunning, as was the coffee and pastries at breakfast. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is a one star hotel (and those leaving poor reviews should perhaps remember this!). And yet we had a spacious room, comfortable bed, private bathroom with nice hot water and excellent WiFi. Luis, who welcomed us was fantastic. We are cyclists and had flagged we'd need somewhere to store our bikes. We arrived, dripping wet after a tough day. Luis immediately made us cups of coffee. He explained we'd been allocated a large room to give space for our bikes and then offered to help carry them to the first floor. In the morning, he made us an excellent breakfast with all the coffee we wanted. Honestly, we've seen campsites that charge not much less (50 euros) and all you get is a square of dirt for your tent and communal showers. The day before we were at a hotel where breakfast would have cost us 20 Euros. Hotel Valle de Ayala could use a coat of paint, yes but the truly important things it gets right and at a very reasonable price. We'd stay there again without hesitation.

This stay was part of a last minute trip through the nearby airport, where prices were better than from other airports. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the bus station and a nice 2 hour Sunday morning walk to the airport. In February 2024, I could stay for EUR 55, whereas the comfort provided is a class higher than what I usually book. The wifi was good, as were the other facilities. I especially liked being able to adjust the shower to my height (I am tall).

The room and bahtroom were clean and tidy.

Although there were no rental cars for us in Logrono - a wonderful young taxi driver rescued us. Eguren Ugarte had more than enough surprises around the property to keep us very happy, full, and swimming in delicious wine. Maybe next time we'll be able to drive the area and see more. Can you imagine 4 men travelling together, at the car rental counter - taking the last 4 cars. Ugh. ✌️🤪☀️☀️☀️☀️

Facilities were nice. Bed was very comfortable and cozy. Big TV, good window and location. Nice desk, good bathroom.

This palacio was really a nice discovery. All areas are much more beautiful then on pictures. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. We also had an offer of getting 8 course dinner for 55 euro at the place but we already made reservation at the other place. All in all we were delighted with our stay at this hotel.

Great stop over for Bilbao ferry Brought our two dogs with us , staff were lovely , room was perfect , lovely atmosphere in bar , will definitely come again
