Central location, helpful staff.

The place is very clean and smells nice and fresh, the bed is comfortable. The room was spacious, and they even gave a bed and some products for our dog. The service is also great :) very friendly staff

Wonderful family hotel, a bit dated but more charming for it. Staff are super friendly and helpful (Asier was a standout for knowledge and helpful reccommendations plus enthusiasm and pride in service)!

This hotel was perfect for us to rest in on our way to the the ferry in Bilbao. It is a lovely old stone house. The bird song in the morning was stunning, as was the coffee and pastries at breakfast. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is a one star hotel (and those leaving poor reviews should perhaps remember this!). And yet we had a spacious room, comfortable bed, private bathroom with nice hot water and excellent WiFi. Luis, who welcomed us was fantastic. We are cyclists and had flagged we'd need somewhere to store our bikes. We arrived, dripping wet after a tough day. Luis immediately made us cups of coffee. He explained we'd been allocated a large room to give space for our bikes and then offered to help carry them to the first floor. In the morning, he made us an excellent breakfast with all the coffee we wanted. Honestly, we've seen campsites that charge not much less (50 euros) and all you get is a square of dirt for your tent and communal showers. The day before we were at a hotel where breakfast would have cost us 20 Euros. Hotel Valle de Ayala could use a coat of paint, yes but the truly important things it gets right and at a very reasonable price. We'd stay there again without hesitation.

Very good location. The room was very clean, beds were good, air conditioner worked well. Self check-in worked well, although a bit slow.

Location, room comfort and size, bed was super comfortable, bar/restaurant next door was good and served food when you wanted it rather than having to wait.

The room was good with en-suite. Good location in centre of city. Hotel had underground car park for motorcycles.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful.

The girl on duty when we arrived was very welcoming and kind. It was so nice as we had dogs with us and there was no problem. I will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Comfortable room with good bed, airconditioning, nice bathroom and a terras with a great view. Also very special is the view inside the wine cellar from the hallway. There was a special romantic dinner that night, obviously with great wines, but also good food and music.

Our 2nd stay and just as good as the first. All perfect

We loved this property! Very authentic, ancient but kept clean and modernized. Yummy breakfast with freshly made coffee and eggs to taste.

Facilities were nice. Bed was very comfortable and cozy. Big TV, good window and location. Nice desk, good bathroom.
