Very easy to find on the way through Labastide. The room was very comfortable, air-conditioned and the hotel staff let us in early. The shower had easily the best pressure and heat of our entire stay in Spain. Beds were the best we've had in Spain. Although we didn't eat at the hotel the breakfast and dinner menus were extensive and reasonably priced in comparison with other restaurants in the area. If we stay here in the future, we'll definitely be dining here. We had a meal in the bar part of the hotel which was absolutely superb - patatas a la jatorenna - or something like that, extremely hearty fare. There's a swimming pool within a 100 yards, but take a bathing cap (yes, fellas too) or you'll have to pay 3 Euros for a new one. Do yourself a favour and walk up to the old high street - it's by the church that you can see from the hotel - where there are many bars and restaurants. Just over an hour away from the port at Bilbao and a good alternative to Haro.

A lovely hotel in a quaint village. Beautifully decorated with period furniture. Many balconies and a garden with a friendly dog.

Always enjoy coming back to Los Calaos de Briones. The rooms are chic and clean with the most fabulous views over the rioja countryside and mountains. Parking on the streets is easy and it's really convenient for walking up into the village square. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

It was like a home away from home. There was a big comfortable lounge area to relax in and an outside area by the pool. The rooms were spacious light & airy. The staff were friendly and obliging. There was plenty of free parking outside. Our grandson loved the little rocking horse. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at ETH Rioja in Haro. The lady on the Check in desk was very friendly and helpful. The room and en suite bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable with lovely pillows. The buffet breakfast was very nice. It's a great place as a base to explore Haro and the beautiful Rioja region.

Loved the room (21, with small balcony). Very comfortable bed, excellent bath room en comfortable living room. The service is very attentive! Great breakfast, and diner is well worth the money too.

Magnificent building , superbly and tastefully renovated. Our room was huge with a lovely balcony. I’ve travelled a fair bit and this right up with the best without being pretentious. 11 out of of 10

The house. Private parking. Very good breakfast- not buffet. Selection of wines for evening meal. Close to several bodegas - try Garrido!
