- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,652 reviewsThis is a wonderful, tastefully designed house with great common rooms, restaurant, a library and a huge terrace right at the beach. The location next to the ruins of EMPURIES is exceptional and offers great walls to the nearby town of St.Marti d’Empuries and L’Escala. The beach is perfect for swimming and for families with children. The hotel also has an outdoors café, that offers food based on old Roman recipes and drinks.Guest review byBrittaGermany

The city of Barcelona is great. So much shopping.
The city of Barcelona is great. So much shopping. Great little bars and restaurants to visit. Time out Barcelona is awesome. Las Ramblas is great. La Sagrada de Familia is a must see. The metro is very easy to figure out and get around with. Colom, La Tasqueta de Blai, La Selva Braseria, Quo Vadis, TKO tacos, Hemingway Gin and Cocktail Bar, Elisa Gelato, Gusti Toscani, Jomo are just some of the best bars and restaurants in Barcelona.Guest review byVittorioCanada - 8.0
Very good location - close to the beach and city centre.
Very good location - close to the beach and city centre. Clean and spacious room with a beautiful sea view. The only downside was that the water was not included in the meals, had to pay extra every time even though the served water was from the tap.Guest review byTetianaSweden - 10.0

Lloret de Mar is a joyful and beautiful place filled with multiple facilities to eat, sleep and enjoy your holidays. You can find multiple nightclubs if you want to party and enjoy the nightlife here. Lloret de Mar is also close to other cities like Barcelona (~1h drive) which you can go to and enjoy a day visiting the beautiful city. Overall Lloret de Mar is good city for your future holidays.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
No parking, it's like winning the lottery.
No parking, it's like winning the lottery. People were very friendly. Very hot in August. Beautiful sea line, sunsets are amazing. To get to Cap Norfeu took us three times to get there, so my advice- come early because it closes at 10.30 and reopens at 16.30. Citadel of Roses is an interesting place, but the best to visit it afternoon because it is very hot at noon. Near Citadel is a free parking. And also thete is Chinese restaurant right in front wich was very tasty.Guest review byValentinaIsrael - 10.0

The food and drink was excellent and reasonably priced. Lots to see and do if you like Roman artefacts. One hour ish to Barcelona by Train and 35 minutes to Salou by bus. We missed the festival of Sant Maggi would return to experience this!Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Fantastic place to stay, particularly for gay men!
Fantastic place to stay, particularly for gay men! More expensive than a lot of places but lovely long flat promenade along the front! Have to be careful of bags, jewellery, and personal safety, particularly late at night so think about how far your hotel is from the centre BEFORE you book as streets very quiet late at night! Ideal for muggers! Fantastic views, great museum (worth a visit), and lovely sandy beaches (including gay nudist beach) near centre of town …. Well worth a visit if careful of safety!Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We were in Girona for an orienteering race and then sadly had to move on. We would love to return for a couple of days to explore properly as the town was so pretty with lots of cobbled alleyways and interesting city walls. We were told by friends that the cathedral is stunning, but did not have time to visit. Next time! We had good eating experiences (lots of al-fresco places to eat on Placa de la Independencia) and were well looked after by everyone we encountered. We really hope to be be back.Guest review byCarolyn - 8.0

Ideal if you like Beaches and Shopping . Restaurant's mainly Tapas dining, Menus not always easy to understand if you don't speak the language . If you like the quieter side of life then the port side of Cambrils is for you. Even in the height of summer, it still has a sense of calm. There's lots of beautiful shops, tons of restaurants and cafes, and oh!, beautiful beaches. Cambrils also lends itself to being close to a busier side of life with Salou just a bus ride away, and Tarragona and Barcelona both being accessible for the more adventurous explorers due a good transport network.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom
