We had the pleasure of visiting Mauric Boutique Hotel in Llagostera at the end of October, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is an incredibly cozy, intimate, and peaceful place where you can truly relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a charming atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the day. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with comfortable beds, ensuring a great night’s sleep. An extra detail we truly appreciated was the free access to water and coffee. Additionally, the hotel is dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us! If we were to mention anything that could be improved, we missed having laundry facilities and a small fridge in the room for storing essentials. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall experience, which we look back on with fondness. All in all, we highly recommend Mauric Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and personal stay in beautiful surroundings. We'll be back!

Excellent hotel that provided everything we needed. The room was spacious, well lit and very comfortable. The reception staff was helpful and assisted us with finding the best parking option for our stay. The hotel's location is perfect - at a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, and at the same time it was quite and comfortable enough.

The location is excellent, very close to the train station and the bus stop. For anyone who wants to visit other cities for day trips, this is the perfect choice. We traveled to two different cities, leaving in the morning and returning in the evening, which was very convenient. The reception staff is 10/10 — very kind, helpful, and always willing to assist. We had a small issue with the room temperature during the first night. It wasn’t very cold, but we tend to prefer a warmer environment. The staff handled it exceptionally well — they turned on the heating system in the entire hotel and also provided us with an electric heater. After that, the room became very warm and comfortable. We really appreciated their effort and prompt response. The rooms are exactly what you need if you plan to spend most of your time exploring. They are clean, comfortable, and very well located — a great practical choice for an active trip.

We had a very comfortable bed(we had a very recharging sleep in it) and comfortable pillows. Modern bathroom. The TV was big and very well positioned relative to the bed so we could enjoy watching the Euro 2024 final. It is very well positioned, close to the train station and the old town. The room was really quiet due to the fact that we had an extra door separating the sleeping room from the hallway leading to the bathroom and the exit. We've enjoyed also the small square in front of the hotel.

The camping ground was clean and secure. The Comfort Lodge was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything you could need, 2 heating units, welll stocked kitchen utensils and pots, hairdryer, and the electric blankets were a real treat. Bruno, who checked us in was super nice and helpful and recommended us a hiking path which my kids loved.

Perfect infrastructure for cyclists.

Perfect infrastructure for cyclists. Plenty of cycling routes with various profiles - flat, rolling hills, climbing. I have never felt as safe road cycling as in Girona. In addition to that, the city is really beautiful, there are plenty of sights to see, the architecture is outstanding. It is a great destination for foodies, all the food we tried was delicious, consisted of mainly local fresh ingredients, and the prices were reasonable especially compared to the south of Spain.

Ate at c’an pep pizza place very good food and friendly atmosphere about 15 mins walk away. Also at La temporada in the big shopping centre. Very nice salads. The ‘town centre’ of Salt is very difficult to park in.

A cosy, authentic b&b in a countryside, run by a very friendly owner. A pleasant experience. Lovely house with thick walls. The village is about 1 km away, a pleasant walk through the fields, a nice restaurant. 3 donkeys and lots of chickens walking around:-) Good vibes.

We stayed two nights here but probably should have only done...

We stayed two nights here but probably should have only done one as the main things to be seen can be done in half a day. Saying that we enjoyed the down time all the same and there were some really nice places to eat. There wasn’t much nightlife that we came across so we tended to have earlyish nights after travelling from Barcelona where we stayed for 4 nights.

Salt is nothing special but it is very near to Girona which is amazing especially the old town. It's a great place to use a base for visiting, mountains, sea, rivers and lakes. Beautiful place for cycling!!

A fantastic walkable city with the ideal duration being 3 days to enjoy everything at a moderate pace. Check bus times in accordance with flights as on our visit the buses didn't run when we landed which resulted in a £35 taxi.

This is a great place to stop and break up a journey, Just off the motorway, easy to find. It is on the edge of big commercial centre, lots of shops and a selection of places to eat within walking distance. It was clean and welcoming and the room was spacious. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly.
