Our satnav took us to another village and Lorena's husband re-directed us and was waiting for us when we arrived. he had found parking for us and assisted with our bags. The welcome was very warm and we cannot praise this hotel enough. Our 2 small dogs were welcomed warmly.
The attention to detail in the rooms, the thought put into everything throughout our stay is the best we have received in a spanish hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we had little extras - a plate of biscuits and cake, a gift of almonds on leaving.
Lorena's husband went ahead and negotiated for the local bar to allow our 2 small dogs in and prepare us some tapas and tomato salad as the other places to eat were closed and we did not want a main meal in the other hotel/restaurant.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished and we had the advantage of a little side room with a couch and refreshment facilities. There are complimentary drink in the fridge. We could not work the coffee machine (our lack of skill!) and Lorena came straight across to show us, providing fresh milk on request.
The breakfast is delivered to your door at an agreed time and there is also a beautiful small room where you can sit at a table and eat.
The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice including a warm tortilla which was delicious.
We actually felt we did not pay enough for the room! We highly recommend this beautiful hotel with wonderful hosts. As it has just 4 rooms, this would be superb for a family get together, it is so peaceful and quiet, the rooms layout are brilliant for a meditative, DIY retreat experience. A visiting massage therapist for tired muscles after long distance driving would be the icing on the cake. We are planning our driving route for next September to include a stay here again.
Highly recommend.

The location was absolutely amazing! Next to many trails, the river and around 20min beautiful walk to Benasque. Staff was very friendly. Wifi was easily accessible from the camping grounds. Supermarket within the grounds was convenient and sufficient. Bar/restaurant was great too! Room was comfortable and cozy. Hot water showers available and a ready kitchen. Nice to dip in the pool/river on a hot day too!

It was like staying in a fairytale. A small hotel, in a small village, located on a beautiful lake. The owners were delightful in every way, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Their recommendations on nearby activities and restaurants were excellent, as was the home cooking within the hotel. A wonderful and unique stay that was pure joy.

Lovely narrow streets and a vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of fabulous cafes and restaurants/bars. Also a superb ice cream parlour. I think a long weekend could easily be spent here. I also visited Canfranc Estacion which is not too far away and neither is France if you’re driving or riding as I did.

Aínsa is a mix of a hilltop medieval town overlooking the meeting of two rivers. There's a modern town below, with lots of bars, restaurants, cafés and businesses catering to adventurers. The old town has been restored and is a bit too perfect. It was overrun with tourists in the evening, mostly Spanish, French and Catalan.

I visited Benasque to compete in the Vuelta al Aneto trail race. The race started and ended in Benasque. Benasque is a great base for outdoor activities (hiking, trail running, mountain biking) with many shops providing gear and support for your adventures. My friends who visited with me are not into outdoor adventures, but enjoyed the beautiful town, restaurants and bars immensely.

The weather in summer is nice, the view of mountains...
The weather in summer is nice, the view of mountains stunning. after we went for hiking on top of the mountain using the cable car which was an incredible hiking trips (we saw lakes on top of mountains and wild cows and horses), after we went down. we have taken a bath in the cold river next to the cable car station, it was very refreshing after a long hiking activity.

Small village with a mountainous feel. Easy to get around on foot. A river runs through it. Has some picturesque buildings and church. Ample free parking on the street, several bars and restaurants for the size of the village. Mainly frequented by visitors using it as a base for skiing, nature walks, cycling, etc. in the area.

Walked from the main road up to the castle. Quite a steep walk and would be hard work in the hot summer months. Couple of lovely little squares in the old town with a few bars and restaurants. The old streets are full of character.
