SloveniaWe had a great stay. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Right next to the hotel, they have their own café where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Parking is located a few minutes away, but you get to walk through the beautiful town, so it was not an issue at all.
Overall, a wonderful experience and we would happily stay here again.

Damien kindly checked us in and him as well as his colleague who helped us at check-out insured a warm welcome. The rooms are Impeccably clean with meticulous attention to detail, every aspect was thoughtfully curated (complete beach setup to borrow in the hotel lobby, free water bottles refilled daily, etc.. Additionally, a cooler was provided for our convenience to enhance our beach days experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a few meters from a grocery store and close to the best restaurants and the city center, it's the perfect Ciutadella stay. We’d definitely come back!

Unhurried life in unspoilt nature
A beautiful Balearic Island, Menorca (or Minorca) has wonderful beaches, sandy coves and a more laidback atmosphere than its neighbours Ibiza and Majorca. Boasting the world’s 2nd largest natural harbour, its capital Mahon is the centre of the nightlife, with several clubs and bars. However, as soon as you head to one of the Menorca resorts, things start to slow down. Punta Prima along the coast has a lovely Blue Flag beach, while the longest beach at Son Bou on the south coast is lined by protected sand dunes. Much of Menorca’s unspoilt beauty is ecologically important, so it’s worth heading inland from the beaches to explore the mountains. The views from the highest peak Monte Toro are amazing. Also worth checking out are the ‘taula’ – prehistoric megaliths whose origin is a mystery. Another prehistoric monument is the Naveta tomb near Ciutadella, a city centred on its port, partly lined with walls. Fantastic Cala Blanca and Cala’n Bosch to the south have a good range of luxury Menorca hotels available on Booking.com, as does curving Cala Galdana where the sea appears almost green. In the more rocky north of the island, the main resorts are Fornells – a pretty fishing village – and Arenal d’en Castell, home to yet another wonderful horseshoe bay.

Don’t count on old reviews. The hotel has recently changed management and has really stepped up. The staff are extremely friendly. They catered to all our requests. We changed our room booking on the very day we arrived, and there were no problems or extra charges. Spotlessly clean, a beautiful swimming pool that’s always clean, and excellent Wi-Fi. The cave is just two minutes walking and the position is excellent. Amazing price-value.

Friendly staff who gave us all the information we needed, Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and great location. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped, towels were changed every two days, and it was peaceful and quiet at night. We also liked the pool, which was always clean and at a pleasant temperature. We will definitely be back.

We loved the view of our apartment, the staff at the reception was very friendly and polite, they all were very nice and the place in general (swimming pool, splash area, apartment,...) is peaceful and charming.
We asked for a cot and it was provided by the resort. My baby slept very well.
Perfect place for a family trip! I would definitely recommend it.

Location is really good bus stop is in front of hotel and 10 mins from Ciutadella which is the capital and the hotel is next to Cala en brut. The beach is nice. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are modern comfortable and very clean. Food is nice there are themes for dinner (Mexican, Asian)

Beautiful old port town with lots of eateries (obvs not all great) and good shopping. Great little "beach" within a 1 mile walk. The old town is really charming with narrow streets, pretty squares and a lively harbour. Lots of places to eat and drink and boutique shopping (if thats your thing). I only found the "beach" at Cala Degollador on my last day but one which was a shame as I would have had a swim there every day (water was lovely). I was there for a week and didn't want to do too much but could easily have done more cycling, bus trips or boat trips to take up time if wanted. Thoroughly recommended.

I go to Mahon because of the bus station and access to start and finish points of the Cami de Cavalls for walking. The downside is that in the best walking months the bus timetable is very restricted, it caters mostly for summer tourism and buses to beaches

Although busy son bou has a lovely beach which stretches for miles. The water is clear and a lovely blue. There is a nice selection of restaurants and shops. Although no markets in sin bou, Alaior is a bus ride away with a great night market.
Some areas are empty but hopefully these can be revived. Beautiful villas with some great views. It is hilly but nice little parks and great for kids.

Not an overly touristy location like lots of Spain. It felt authentic for the most part with many locals and Spanish holidaymakers. There are many small-medium grocery shops all well priced and wide range of products, within walking distance wherever you're staying. We recommend hiring a car to get around the island more and make the most of beaches out of walking distance. The beaches within Cala en Blanes are also fantastic (Cala en Brut, Cala en Forcat) but more cliff jumping rather than long, white sandy beaches (try Algaiarens and Platja Des Bots only 25 minutes drive). There is a classic strip of restaurants and shops aimed at tourists in Los Delphines which we avoided but tried Voramar Sunset Bar and it is definitely worth the visit!

Cala Galdana is superb, the bay is idyllic and sheltered by cliffs on both sides. It has a number of lovely cafes and restaurants that are low key and do not intrude or spoil the beach. The water is warm and the beach is shallow making it ideal for children.

Its a tourist resort and has loads of places to eat and have a drink. Its very busy and great for people watching from a marina side bar. Some good places to eat but as a resort, it lacks a sense of the island unlike Citudella and Mahon plus other inland towns. Easy to walk to and from and of course very safe. If you want to eat out and have variety of food all within a short distance, its ideal. Buses go to and from the area so you can travel easily and cheaply until quite late. Beaches are busy but lovely.

Lovely cove with a large beach, with lots of facilities. A few decent places to eat, but as typical for Menorca not lots and lots. Easy to get to Mahon or En Castadel for the night using the friendly Island taxis

We love Cala'n Porter, the beach is superb and the water is shallow. It is a bit of a walk down and back up so this year for the first time we took the car down. I am 67 so indulge me. The town is great with a couple of Supermarkets and loads of Bars and Restaurants. We hired a car from the airport so we could get around the Island. We were lucky this year to have the Fiesta in Mahon with the Giants and the Menorcan Horses.

I had absolutely amazing, relaxing stay in here. It is true that the hotel is a bit isolated, but one should know this before booking a stay here. For me, this was perfect, as I was seeking for nice relaxing stay at hotel and chilling on the beach, which was just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The animation team is coming with plenty of activities, so even at the hotel you can not get bored. It was perfectly relaxing time at pool and beach. The hotel is well maintained and is really clean, the restaurant is beautiful with an amazing food, I did not find a single thing to complain about. I loved it and I would highly, highly recommend!

Economical price area and close to airport and large city Mahon, beach nice gentle slope into water and gentle waves the day we went. It was close to friends we visited was another main reason we stayed there.
