The appartment is beautiful and the views are amazing. So atmospheric. My train broke down and I missed the rack railway up to Queralbs - the and the owner drove all the way down to Ribes de Freser to fetch me. So kind and friendly.

I had been there second time. If you are going with friends - take the room for 4 people. It is the best option.

This hostel is in a beautiful location in the mountains in Queralbs. This is as close as you can get to Vall de Núria by car. The hostel is literally a 5 minute walk away from the übercute Queralbs railway station, from where you can take the train up to Vall de Núria. The room was quite large, with a balcony and a private bathroom with shower and bath. The bed was squeaky and the decor was basic, but I think you come here for the wonderful location, not for luxury. It's basic in the good sense: simple, yet clean. Downstairs there is a bar/restaurant where you have breakfast and can get drinks and an evening meal. The food is basic yet tasty. With help of the friendly staff and Google Translate you'll figure it out what to order 🙂. There are about 8-10 parking places in front of the hostel and we were lucky to get one. There's a large car park a 5 minute walk away from the hostel, so contrary to the description on Booking finding a parking spot isn't really a problem. In the car park there are quite a few chargers so we could charge ours overnight. This is one of those picturesque experiences that you'll remember.

Housed in an old manor house, Hotel Angelats is an environmentally friendly hotel surrounded by nature. It features a restaurant serving organic and local cuisine and a free private parking on-site.
