This hotel exceeded my expectations. I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

The location close to St Emilion, the ambience, the setting, the beautiful building, the out door dining, swimming pool,in fact everything. Lovely Chateau experience. Probably the best we've ever had in France and we've travelled alot throughout France over the years. Even the parking was so easy and so close. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff.

We are a family of five with three teenagers and stayed for three days. We stayed in teh appartment, which is a separate building just across from the main hotel building. The flat was on two levels, with a double bed and three single beds. It had a small patio out front which was actually wonderful, in that we could sit outside and drink wine or coffee and enjoy the sun and the very central location. The beds were very comfortable! The hotel is very central, a block from the market and a grocery store and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were very friendly. We did surfing lessons every day, and the surfing was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. For beginners, Biarritz is fantastic for surfing -- very good predictable waves, and many options for rentals.

It was my first time in Bordeaux and I loved it!

It was my first time in Bordeaux and I loved it! I took three tours where they explained many things about its history and landmarks. The oysters!!! You must try the oysters! The fish is great too! It looks very safe and people were polite. I will come back but this time during summer.

A beautiful little town with a gorgeous old town, lovely river. amazing covered market and cathedral. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops, beautiful squares to sit and drink coffee/wine in, and plenty going on. Can't recommend highly enough for a couple of days, and so easy to get in and out of the airport. Wish we'd had longer!

The cleanliness of the streets, the lively spirit of the residents, architecture from French colonial days were some of the unforgettable aspects. In off season, some restaurants are not open or on hiatus, but there were enough good quality establishments. Walking tours are easy, if you are ready for stairs and inclines here and there.

Pau is totally enchanting.

Pau is totally enchanting. The boulevard de Pyrenees with it’s wonderful views is spectacular. The covered market is exceptional. The Castle/Chateau area is beautiful. There is so much to see and do. There are lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and bars.

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a very pleasant little town on the South-west coast of France. Its beach is nicely sheltered from the wild Bay of Biscay, making it safe and attractive. We stayed in a central hotel with easy access to some lovely bars and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine. It's an easy drive into the countryside; we climbed a mountain called Larrun, part of the Pyrenees, then easily back to St Jean de Luz for a swim and out for dinner! Also some good local shops.

Sarlat is a wonderful place. Everyone we met were friendly. The restaurants were excellent. My only complaint are the dogs! The French are lousy dog owners. The dogs are allowed to relieve themselves anywhere, and, the owners make no effort to clean it up. Walking down the main shopping street in the old town can be an adventure.

For me, my opinion usually starts from the first greeting and at this hotel, the service was immediately friendly and personal. The local area is lovely to explore and the hotel is well located for this, and in a quiet part of the town near to the seafront.

Not much. Its listed as 4 star.

Not much. Its listed as 4 star. The property needs a complete renovation. Plus, with today's technology and the WiFi is non existant. On my first night I was not given WiFi. They were correct. Its less than 1 bar and you cannot stream. I would not stay again

A very pleasant and welcoming town. I'll certainly be back. The nearby restaurant Inde ('e' acute} provided excellent food and good wine. Very easy to get around on foot. The station was only 15 minutes from the hotel. Lots of pleasant shops. And of course the famous Pruneaux d'Agen are delicious.
