For a few locations 5 stars raring is not enough, like Hotel Les Marechaux in Auxerre. The beautiful building, the location, the garden are all very nice. But... most remarkable is the atmosphere which is given by the hosts Isabelle and Fabian. Meeting them and you feel immediately welcome. There is no Ibis - or Accor hotel which can come any close to this level. The hotel has many old elements left, so everything remains in style. The rooms are spacious compared to most French hotels. The Wi-Fi is fast. There is enough (free) parking and the breakfast with (local) fruit perfect.

Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. チェックインは０時迄ＯＫなので、到着が23時近くなってしまったが、フロントにスタッフが居て手続きはスムースに出来た。部屋は狭かったが、一晩寝るだけなので問題はなかった。朝食は種類は少ないが十分な量が準備されていた。飲み物がテイクアウト出来て便利だと思った。
