The room was very comfortable with great view of the harbour - see photo attached. The meals we had in the restaurant were exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was one of those 'finds'. The accommodation is very modern, well-equipped and perfect if you want to stay somewhere where you can do self-catering and spend time in a comfortable shared living room. The manager there was also extremely helpful.

We stayed in the Gatehouse and it was very charming, clean and with all you could wish for. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, it really does feel as your Home away from Home. The garden and estate, dont get me started. Really spectacular, oh my just georgios. We loved the putting green and just going about in the garden taking in the view and the amazing greenroom and beautiful estate.

Catered for a veggie breakfast instead of full English by adding other ingredients without asking, just fab!

The hotel is tucked away in the middle of town, with several options for sitting/dining, a well stocked bar and a lovely garden with covered and play areas. Breakfast was great, with lots of options, and the one dinner we had was fine, so we can't comment on the menu further. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The tea tray was welcome and well provisioned. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.

It’s in a great location for visiting Aberdeenshire and the hotel is a fabulous place to stay. Our rooms were great, spacious with all the amenities you would expect from a great hotel. The breakfasts are varied and a great selection. We stayed for 3 nights and had dinner at the hotel each night and everyone enjoyed the food it was first class, the portions are really big but you do get a choice of full portions or smaller. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back

The restaurant was very good value for the menu choice and quality of the meals and drinks, service was excellent on all 4 nights, the breakfast menu and service was also excellent. We would recommend this hotel as an excellent venue for touring north-east Aberdeenshire. There is plenty to discover within a 1 hour drive radius.

My wife and I spent a lovely two nights at this hotel whilst exploring Aberdeenshire. This hotel is more for business people and probably oil rig workers and is not a holiday destination. However, having said that, management and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well run despite Covid restrictions. Thank you one and all for making our stay very welcoming.

Reception staff and the breakfast staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly . Hilda our waitress was exceptional.
