The rooms were well furnished and spacious and very clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with a good spread.

Vackert men opersonligt.
Newquay var väldigt vackert. Vi var bara där ett dygn och fick mersmak. Däremot var personal på restauranger och hotellet inte lika trevliga och serviceorienterade som på andra sidan Cornwall, t ex Falmouth.

Bekvämt boende
Bra utgångsställe för att utforska Cornwalls norra kust med gott om historiskt intressanta platser runtomkring. Vi var vid slottet i Tintagel, vandrade en bit längs kusten och såg sälar för att senare på dagen besöka de gamla tenngruvorna i Botalack. Riktigt bra mat i Innets matsal. Vägarna runtom var dock snäva med skarpa kurvor men det är också en del av områdets charm.

Väldigt vackra stränder och vandringsleder. Själva stan bullrig, stökig och utan någon speciell charm. Många affärer inriktade på utrustning och kläder för surfare. Om man inte själv är surfare är det bättre att åka någon annanstans - det finns så mycket andra fina platser i Cornwall.

Trevliga omgivningar med trevliga människor. God mat och god öl. Vapen Cornwall som låg i närheten var sevärd. Golfbanan som låg intill Cape Cornwall såg spektakulär ut. Vet dock inte om man får spela där som utomstående.

Helstone B&B var en mycket positiv totalupplevelse.
Helstone B&B var en mycket positiv totalupplevelse. Orten Camelford stannade vi för kort tid för att kunna ge en objektiv recension om. På rekommendation av våra värdar åt vi middag i en närliggande ort vars namn jag inte kommer ihåg, men som var som mycket annat i Cornwall genuint engelsk. Restaurangen serverade både god mat och omsorg om gästerna. Ett lyckat besök.

Mycket att se, konst och historia. Naturen är underskön, det är ju Cornwall!! Stränder i stan och runt om. Bil rekommenderas ej i stan. Många bra matställen vid hamnen.

En fantastiskt trevlig och pittoresk liten stad med många mysiga caféer och restauranger. Perfekt utgångspunkt för vandringar, men oxå nära till många av Cornwalls besöksmål och sevärdheter. Vyerna ut över havet och det omgivande landskapet från St Agnes Beacon är spektakulära. Stränderna är vita och långa och erbjuder stora vågor för surfing.

Litet samhälle med få butiker. Ligger bra till om man vill resa runt i Cornwall utan bil, tågstationen tar dig till och från London och sedan runt i Cornwall utan problem. Francis Bassett hotell var toppen! Nytt och fräscht med bra restaurang som serverade mat till rimliga priser hela dagen.

Rummet vi hade var riktigt bekvämt med en fantastisk utsikt. Bra med buffet-frukost och det fanns mycket att välja på t.o.m. yoghurt och frukt. Lokalbussar som på är både billiga och som går i hela Cornwall är oerhört smidigt och billigt att förflytta sig med och som stannar alldeles utanför

The staff were hospitable and kind. The view was superb from every window of the hotel. It was worth the splurge. Breakfast was excellent -- cooked breakfast and a buffet -- and complemented by the wonderful scenery outside. St Ives rocks.

You dont have to leave the complex, everything is there. The restaurant is amazing, food was wonderful, staff were friendly. The spa is everything you could want/ need. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our treatment. We have highly recommended st michaels to our family and friends. Even the couple of things that werent so great did not affect our overall experience.
