It was such a lovely experience. The property was clean and cosy. There were plenty of towels, pillows and fire wood. We was left complimentary hot chocolates , biscuits and marshmallows which was a really nice touch for the kids.

Love Camber Sands, have been here a few times with and without my kids, suits both my needs and theirs for a few days away that’s not too far from home. Food is expensive but you get alot of it and i never found fault in the restaurant.

A lovely area, especially if you like quieter places. The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway is great for all children, railway enthusiasts and anyone who wants to experience life in a simpler time, or who wants to try something a little different.

Dymchurch was small enough to be cute and a great base on the seaside for access to the coast and Romney Marsh's delights. Great walks for miles along the sea wall and coast road. The sandy beach was huge and anazing at Dumchurch. Dungeness suprisingly interesting and the end stop on the coastal steam train. Villlages each had their own quirks. Plenty of ancient churches to visit. From the Ship Inn (lovely roomsand food at this Inn) the rest of the village, sea and steam train was all v walkable.

The bungalow was very quaint, well equipped with everything one needs for a getaway and more! Sue, the proprietor, had thought of everything. It was close to nearby shops, restaurants and pubs and the Sandy beach was just across the road. There were bus routes just around the corner. I would certainly recommend Seashells to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Old Romney is quaint and it is like being on another planet where it is quiet and the air is fresh. I visited the grave of Derek Jarman the artist and film maker and writer. The church is across the road from the cabin.

Dungeness is a unique place on the Kent coast.

Dungeness is a unique place on the Kent coast. A vast shingle beach, and ramshackle old cottages mix with architectural wonders. Decaying fishing boats litter the shore and a nuclear power station adds to the complex landscape. A 15 inch gauge railway runs through the landscape, transporting visitors back and from Hythe to Dungeness and two lighthouses look over the land and see. A haven for the weird and a magnet for artists. There's nowhere quite like it.

can't believe how much sandy beach appears when the tide is out ! lovely for playing on. there are few shops on the beach for refreshments, which is a bonus as the area stays so nice, but can feel like a hindrance when you need the toilet or food. The KitKat Cafe had great toasted sandwiches and ice creams !

New Romney is a small self-contained town at the edge of the marsh. It has beautiful old buildings with a 21st century sense of purpose and use. I found it a very friendly place and had a lovely holiday there.
