Location, Decoration, Attention to Details, Staffs, all very good! I happened to stay when there was a Tube strike, the staff by the entrance went above and beyond, got me a cab from blocks away. I needed to make the business meeting and thanks to him I was able to make it on time. Thank you so much for the staffs, I recommend this hotel 100%. Also the neighborhood of Marylebone is really cute and filled with lovely shops and restaurants. There is even a farmers market on Sundays. Worth checking it out!

FAQs about hotels in England

The Small Country with Big Appeal

For a relatively small country, England certainly manages to pack in a wealth of tourist attractions, from Land’s End all the way to Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Words can’t do justice to the capital London - an exciting mix of famous sights, royalty and vibrant life. Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham are fabulous cities that have emerged from their industrial past to be cutting-edge centres of culture.

Newcastle, Leeds and Bristol are well known for their buzzy music scene, while sedate Oxford and Cambridge are famous for their universities and punting. Stately York still maintains its city walls and Windsor has the wonderful castle where the Queen often resides.

Sheffield and Derby border the magnificent Peak District, while the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are close to Blackpool, one of England’s favourite beach destinations. Other very popular beaches are in Brighton, Eastbourne, Torquay and Scarborough.

With a beautifully rugged coastline, mystical Cornwall has England hotels in the country, as do the Cotswolds where stone houses line picturesque villages. The Georgian spa cities of Bath and Harrogate also have impressive stone architecture.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what England has to offer, but wherever you visit, you can be sure that Booking.com has a fantastic range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in England to choose from.

Food quality was great. Bit more variety on the evening meals would help for those staying longer than 4 days but that is being picky. Fantastic breakfast - if there is something you want but cannot find on the buffet then ask the chefs - all very helpful. The spa was amazing and great for a rainy day. Location is perfect for walks and local communities. Room was cozy and comfortable. For 6 days we could have done with booking a bigger room - it is worth checking the options for longer stays - but the bed was super comfy and we wish we'd bought the robes.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff were so kind and accommodating. When an issue with our room couldn't be resolved, they moved us to a better room, to ensure that we had a comfortable stay, which was amazing. The space was beautiful, with stunning views and clean, stylish interiors. There were beautiful walks, tennis courts, games, restaurants, with easy access to St Ives. Would definitely recommend, for the fabulous staff and gorgeous, comfortable spaces.

This was a great hotel, the building at start might not looked outstanding, but it really represents what the docks are and you quickly begin to love the design, the red brick style, you will realize how awesome the construction really is. Rooms size is amazing, common areas are extraordinary and the titanic theme is present and beautiful.

London is a lovely city and experiencing the bitter cold was fun and challenging. London has lots of history and lots of walking to do. Trains and taxis and other transportation is easily accessible. spoilt for choice in terms of dining and shopping too. overall, a good city to visit in the cold or the summer. will defiantly return again as I enjoyed my stay. Also, if you a football fan the premier league matches are something special to see in terms of the atmosphere and supporters and the fun at the stadium itself, love that.

One of my favorite cities. I grew up watching LFC playing. They are my heroes. The people and the community of LFC and their preference to honor the fans in all the aspects, I get to experience it and the memory will last a lifetime. Anfield Stadium, the road, it was a proper fan-boy moment, took all kinds of silly pictures. If you are looking for an escape from the London busy and want to enjoy the niceties of people, the quietness and yet still have access to all good food and tech, come here for a few days.

Great location for a city break.

Great location for a city break. We visited with our teenage twins and they enjoyed the exhibition at the Bristol Museum as well as the Suspension Bridge (visit the museum, too). Bristol is a mix of new and old, seems very vibrant and has some great architectural highlights. There is a lot to do and see, so definitely recommend it. Great for foodies, too, with many small independent restaurants and delis. Loved the cathedral, its spectacular.

Plenty to do, if its relaxing, entertainment or exploring. Lots of resteraunts and bars and good places to explore sightseeing. I am a wheelchair user and found the town centre pavements a little uneven drop kerbs slightly high but near the beaches and up the golden mile on the sea side of the road the pavements were nice and flat and accessible with perfect drop kerbs.
