What an absolute gem the Farmhouse Hotel is ! Booked for 3 nights for our first visit to Guernsey and our stay exceeded all our expectations. Customer service was outstanding and food was superb. We had a really lovely room with the most amazingly comfortable bed. The hotel is beautifully maintained both inside and outside with the most beautiful garden and it’s perfectly located in the centre of the island to visit all the great places that Guernsey has to offer. What more could anyone ask for ?!
St. Peter Port
I booked a single room with private bathroom and this was perfect for myself, for a budget concerted traveller like myself, I booked three nights at the St George’s as it was the best priced hotel in town and wasn’t disappointed. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and ferry’s to Herm, Sark … etc. I liked the breakfast and was displayed nicely in a little basket. I will stay here again when I come into guernsey again in the near future. Shower was powerful and good temperature control.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. I have a medical condition causing me to have a vegan/GF diet which was very well catered for. The hotel is not far from the main access to town although there is a bit of a hill to get to it. Beautiful gardens to sit in, lovely public seating areas. The rooms are varied and spread over 3 floors. Will definitely book the Pandora the next time we plan a trip to Guernsey.
Lovely location .staff who did work there over worked .working very hard to keep this lovely place to stay.l the local residents who live on the island highly recommend it and the bar area very nice..the outside very nice .pool and well kept gardens too .Guernsey is beautiful 🏝island. friendly people who live and, work there. Good car park .plenty of space.if you smoke nice seating area in the garden .dog friendly too 😴.
Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast, lovely warm outdoor heated swimming pool, nice terrace with fine sea views. We enjoyed the short walk down the hill to the town centre through the lovely Candie Gardens, but the climb up again might be too much for less able visitors. We were doing some family history research and the hotel is right next door to the Priaulx Library, a fantastic resource for Guernsey history.
When you feel a little sad after a holiday it means that the holiday was excellent We're all three of us a little sad today Guernsey has a lot to offer, the Old Government House Hotel is a charming old building but what really made our holiday special was the team there From the moment of arrival to our early morning departure for the airport, the OGH team was really top and I plan to thank them for that
We had a beautiful room, with a sitting area overlooking the town and sea, with views across to Sark, and even Jersey discernible on the horizon. The hotel is full of character, and very well situated for the centre of town, and for the Guernsey Museum, which is just up the road. Breakfast, which was excellent, with a choice of cooked dishes, was taken in a lovely restaurant overlooking the harbour.
The superb staff make this already excellent hotel even better. They are highly professional and attentive, yet friendly and sociable. The food is superb. Extremely well presented and very tasty, with decent portions. The rooms are very comfortable. I honestly do not know how this hotel could improve, Whenever I visit Guernsey again, La Barbarie is where I will stay,
St. Martin Guernsey
Location was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean & the manager efficient & friendly (but not overly so which I think is a good thing). Enjoyable breakfasts & accommodating of earlier than anticipated arrival following initial (& unexpected) flight cancellation. If I return to Guernsey again I will try & book at the Queens in the first instance.
The location is stunning and the Peninsula Hotel is beautifully blended into its surrounds. We were delighted to have chosen the Northern part of the island, as although it is a bus ride away from Peter Port, the journey affords a real flavour of Guernsey. The heated outdoor pool was a major factor in our choice of the Peninsula Hotel and it didn't disappoint.

Room was fabulous with an amazing view. Excellent choice on breakfast menu and all delicious! Both the Mexican restaurant and the Steak restaurant at the hotel were outstanding. All staff throughout our 5 day stay were polite, friendly, helpful and professional. An amazing stay at this wonderful hotel on the beautiful island of Guernsey.
Excellent facilities, friendly staff and an exceptional breakfast service/selection. I felt very welcome there and have already booked to stay here again for my next trip to Guernsey. This hotel is excellent value for money and is in a great location to walk into town or as a base to explore the island.
The Staff were very friendly......the Hotel was very professional......the food was exceptional......The Le Chene Hotel is just 5 to 10 mins walk from Guernsey Airport......excellent all round. We will definitely go there again as thoroughly enjoyed it
Always stay here and as a former resident of Guernsey it’s a great hotel in a very central location. On my last stay it was boiling hot but my room had air con, such a relief and enabled me to get a very good sleep. Pool is also good on hot days.
I know the hotel well and felt it had improved considerably. The staff were very attentive, breakfast was great, bed comfortable. It has every facility. Super for holidaymakers who want a base to explore Guernsey.
The location is excellent; a short walk to the main street, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this for anyone travelling to Guernsey for a business trip, if you need to be in St. Peter Port.
Friendly staff. Helpful and informative from check-in onwards. Lovely individual hotel in the countryside. Great buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Perfect for a break in Guernsey.
Great breakfast.Full Guernsey breakfast very similar to 'full english' one. Excellent location, half an hour walk from town centre. Very quiet street, where the hotel stands.
