This was our first time in Guernsey and we really recieved a wonderful welcome , the hotel staff were amazing especially the lady at reception - Aran was so kind and made sure we were comfortable during our stay ,all the staff were very kind and would go out of there way to help you, the hotel is so beautifully located and the breakfast was great with so much choice , can't fault this hotel at all , lovely big heated swimming pool , we really loved our stay here thank you to all the staff in hotel de havelet from the Irish 🇮🇪
What an absolute gem the Farmhouse Hotel is ! Booked for 3 nights for our first visit to Guernsey and our stay exceeded all our expectations. Customer service was outstanding and food was superb. We had a really lovely room with the most amazingly comfortable bed. The hotel is beautifully maintained both inside and outside with the most beautiful garden and it’s perfectly located in the centre of the island to visit all the great places that Guernsey has to offer. What more could anyone ask for ?!
The hotel/restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is old and quirky, our room was large and clean, bathroom however was small and dated. I recommend the food, which was really good and reasonably priced, breakfast was also very good. If we return to Guernsey we would not hesitate in staying here again. I would like to mention that the bin men arrive in the early hours of the morning here, so don't sleep with your windows open like we did!
The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. I have a medical condition causing me to have a vegan/GF diet which was very well catered for. The hotel is not far from the main access to town although there is a bit of a hill to get to it. Beautiful gardens to sit in, lovely public seating areas. The rooms are varied and spread over 3 floors. Will definitely book the Pandora the next time we plan a trip to Guernsey.
The staff and owners are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had trouble seeing sights with the bus system (bring Guernsey or Brit currency). I was utterly disappointed. When the owner, David, heard of the issue, he very generously drove us to a museum, picked us up, and then personally showed us some points of interest and got us to our ferry. None of this was expected. He went above and beyond! Hotel is very nice in all ways!
The property was very clean, and the owner Celeste couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was really good, and the garden and swimming pool delightful. Free parking at the hotel was also good, and this enabled us to do the lovely 1/2hr walk to and from town, St Peter Port, several times - There are buses within a few mins walk but the walk to town was so lovely on Guernsey’s quiet roads we didn’t bother.
Breakfast was very good with full personal service and good selection of cooked breakfast options. RestauraNT WAS EXPENSIVE AND LIMITED CHOICE OF DRINKS MUCH LIKE OUR SBUSEQUENT STAY ON Jersey. Did nor like the narrow twin beds, would have prefered a double bed. Balcong was good, pool was adequet but not as good as De France hotel Jersey. Hotel bus srevice to town and customer selected destinaTIONS ON gUERNSEY WAS EXCELLENT.
When you feel a little sad after a holiday it means that the holiday was excellent We're all three of us a little sad today Guernsey has a lot to offer, the Old Government House Hotel is a charming old building but what really made our holiday special was the team there From the moment of arrival to our early morning departure for the airport, the OGH team was really top and I plan to thank them for that
The superb staff make this already excellent hotel even better. They are highly professional and attentive, yet friendly and sociable. The food is superb. Extremely well presented and very tasty, with decent portions. The rooms are very comfortable. I honestly do not know how this hotel could improve, Whenever I visit Guernsey again, La Barbarie is where I will stay,
St. Martin Guernsey
Location was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean & the manager efficient & friendly (but not overly so which I think is a good thing). Enjoyable breakfasts & accommodating of earlier than anticipated arrival following initial (& unexpected) flight cancellation. If I return to Guernsey again I will try & book at the Queens in the first instance.
The location is stunning and the Peninsula Hotel is beautifully blended into its surrounds. We were delighted to have chosen the Northern part of the island, as although it is a bus ride away from Peter Port, the journey affords a real flavour of Guernsey. The heated outdoor pool was a major factor in our choice of the Peninsula Hotel and it didn't disappoint.
Excellent Location, Staff were Excellent, and so happy to help. Ate in all 3 dining areas and all were Excellent, as well 😀 Just make sure you go in hungry as portions are generous. Hotel was clean and I wasn’t worried about Covid infection. No UHT Milk in room, you just ring reception and within minutes you get a little glass bottle of fresh Guernsey milk 😀
Room was fabulous with an amazing view. Excellent choice on breakfast menu and all delicious! Both the Mexican restaurant and the Steak restaurant at the hotel were outstanding. All staff throughout our 5 day stay were polite, friendly, helpful and professional. An amazing stay at this wonderful hotel on the beautiful island of Guernsey.
St. Peter Port
Any one going to Guernsey should look up this hotel, the stay was very pleasant with lovely sea view, staff very helpful , breakfast is a must the lovely selection basket included cereals fruit, drinks, croissants, jams etc, easy walking distance to St Peter Port and bus terminus Liz & Ken Guilder
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Staff arranged return taxi on arrival due to shortage on Guernsey at the time. Free drink; including alcoholic option on return to hotel in the afternoon most welcoming, especially after walking up the hill to the hotel!
The Staff were very friendly......the Hotel was very professional......the food was exceptional......The Le Chene Hotel is just 5 to 10 mins walk from Guernsey Airport......excellent all round. We will definitely go there again as thoroughly enjoyed it
Very green, big area (for Guernsey it‘s a luxury). friendly stuff in bar-restaurant and the Chief in Victor Hugo Rest. the hotel is near the golf park. great breakfast and a fantastic brunch on Sunday! the Fitness and spa were very good.
Breakfast was fine, but same every day Hotel lounge/coffee shop was very pleasant but all a bit dated, as is Guernsey in general. The hotel was certainly one of the nicer places we came across in our time on the island.
great pizzas, nice quiet spot with lovely gardens and close to airport, hotel manager even took us to airport in the morning as taxis not available (huge problem getting taxis in Guernsey these days), will definitely return
Stayed overnight for work during Guernsey Pride. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. Our experience of staying here was great and would recommend this hotel to others. Would stay here again.
