We stayed at Promaja for a week. The owner is very kind and gave us a lot of information about the island and surrounding cities. No question is too much as the owner will always try to help. This made the vacation amazing since we were in good hands.
The location is amazing, since it's at the tip of the island there is not much tourism. Keep in mind that having a car is alsmost a must if you want to look around the island.
The appartment was great and had everything we needed. We cooked some meals and we never missed anything. The view at sunset is specteculair and probably the best view of the whole island. There was also good internet and A/C which made the stay pleasent due to the hot temperatures.
We also did a lot of swimming at the appartment which was amazing, super clear water and lots of wildlife to spot! We do recommend wearing water shoes since there are a lot of sharp rocks etc.
All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend staying at Promaja!

Excellent for families or big parties, our kids spent most of the time in the pool, which was lovely. A small shop to top up your groceries just down the road, a beach approximately 5 min walk away where all the boats and water taxis to Trogir dock. A short drive to the next village which is more vibrant and touristy with more selection of restaurants.
The house itself has everything you might need, air con was a godsend, washing machine, dishwasher, you can even charge electric cars.

We had an exceptional vacation at Apartments Romana. The host, Romana is kind, hospitable and ready to help when needed. The location is very good. Everything is within easy reach - the beach, supermarket, beach bistro, etc. By boat from Slatine to Split is only 30 min., and the beautiful medieval town of Trogir is 6 km away, which is wonderful for evening walks and dinners.

Its quality is above average.
The host is very kind and always available.
Provides a shaded parking lot for your car.
The beach at the end of the street is small, but not crowded.

I am very pleased with my stay. We stayed in the family apartment on the first floor. The apartment was very well-equipped, and for me, the biggest advantage was the large terrace with a grill. The owner was friendly and helpful.

The villa has simply stunning views, kid friendly pool, where we spent most of the day. Also little cozy corners and areas to lay down or have a coffee more privately. Would certainly come again.

Slatine is a quieter place near Trogir, with nice pebble...
Slatine is a quieter place near Trogir, with nice pebble beaches suitable for families with children. The sea is beautifully clean with a gentle entry into the water. There is a small harbor from which you can set off on a trip to Split or Trogir. The problem is the narrow roads where it is difficult to avoid cars and people.

okrug gornji is quite big and obtains everything you might wish for. the beaches are beautiful, although you might want to consider a different location if you want a bit more peace and quiet, since it did get a bit crowded throughout the day. we never had a problem to find an empty spot at the beach tho and there was never too many people in the sea either. there were many options for food and drinks along the beach, such as many fastfoods, smoothies, bubble tea, bars, ice cream stores and much more. there was also a souvenir shop and an arcade to occupy the little ones. grocery stores were right by the beach, just like many different restaurants varying from pizzerias to places with fresh fish. as for the transport, there were buses going around all day, you could get a cab if needed or maybe the easiest way of transport throughout the not-so-wide streets - you can rent a scooter. everything was by walking distance tho, so if you don't plan on going to a different city or traveling somewhere further, there's no need for a car in this location.

Slatine is a nice destination that you can reach by public transport from Split airport. You can easily visit both Split and Trogir by bus or boat. The village has a choice of nice beaches (pebbles and rocks), a small shop, and a few nice cafes and restaurants.

Lovely seaside town.
Lovely seaside town. Appartment has good sea access and views though you need a car to get around. Appartment is a studio - well appointed and clean if (pleasantly) basic. Everything works well. If we were going back to this area we would go back to this appartment for sure.

Slatine is a small town about 30 minutes from Slatine.
Slatine is a small town about 30 minutes from Slatine. It has a beautiful coast time with many apartments with holiday makers.
The coastline is filled with restaurants and cocktail bars. We tried to visit as many as we could and all were really good. Many cocktail bars only accept cash, but there are cash machines.
