The nearest beach is about a 10 minutes walk away but if you have a car I would suggest to go to Dražica beach or Ručica beach which is probably the most beautiful beach on Pag island and just a 10 minutes ride away.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and elegant hotel. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the location was excellent. The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The food was very good, and I also enjoyed the swimming pool. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would definitely be happy to come back again!

Novalja is a vibrant city with a fantastic atmosphere, especially in the late evening and early night hours. There is something for everyone here—from family-friendly spots to a bustling nightlife for younger crowds. The broad harbor promenade is perfect for strolling at all hours, lined with charming local shops offering a variety of goods and souvenirs.
On the downside, dining out at restaurants can be quite expensive. However, there are plenty of fast-food options serving great food at reasonable prices, as well as local supermarkets if you prefer to buy groceries and cook at home.
The city is compact and very easy to navigate, with almost everything within walking distance. It is also well connected by buses and taxis to the local beaches, so you won't need to rely on a car very much to get around.
We felt completely safe throughout our stay, making it a great destination for all types of travelers.
A few beaches are located very close to the city — including the city beach — which are great for families with children. There are also several beaches tailored to young people, featuring 24/7 party scenes with DJs and beach clubs.

This was my first visit to Pag ((the island and the town of pag).
I had friends there to show me around.
It's a nice, not too big island but big enough to need a car there if you want to make the most of it and do the proper sightseeing of the island Pag.
If you're visiting just the town of Pag , car is not needed.
Beaches are beautiful. See is clean.
Lots of tours or private hires to visit nearby islands.
And, you can come to ithe island of pag by ferry. Or just driving (bridge connect the island with the mainland.

Povljana is an ideal place for families.
Povljana is an ideal place for families. It offers beautiful beaches with a gentle entry into the sea. Water shoes are recommended, especially on some pebble beaches. The beaches are not overcrowded, which makes the stay more relaxing. Prices in local shops are slightly higher, so it is worth doing a bigger grocery shopping outside the village. Restaurant prices are similar to other places in Croatia.

- beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'.

- near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

Mandrice exceeded our expectations on every count.
Mandrice exceeded our expectations on every count. We came as a family of five — three children aged 5, 5 and 8 — and it turned out to be exactly the kind of place that works for that mix.
Value for money is excellent. For what we paid, the location directly on the water, the space, and the range of facilities were better than anything comparable we looked at.
The beach in front of the resort never felt crowded, even in late August, and the whole site stays remarkably calm — no noise, no crowds, just a quiet bay. That was the single biggest difference from busier spots on Pag.
Paddleboards and canoes are available to borrow, which we used almost every day. The water attractions were the highlight for the children — all three were thrilled with them and would have stayed in the water all day.
What stayed with us most is the atmosphere of the place. It has a character you simply don't find elsewhere: unhurried, welcoming, close to nature. We would come back.

This is a quiet place very good for families with kids.
This is a quiet place very good for families with kids. There are not that many restaurants around. There is a bakery and a small grocery shop. Most of the beaches are for the accommodated guests but there is also one large beach Planjka at the entrance to the village. There are very nice beaches available within 15mins by car - Plaza Jadra and Cista Plaza.

It’s a fairly remote village, but it’s full of life and really gorgeous. There is a little market where you can buy mostly vegetables, some olive oil stands, but the nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. The olive gardens are really beautiful, you can find nice spots along the trail!

We really liked our stay here.
We really liked our stay here. We tried almost all restaurants and everything was really delicious, especially the seafood. Everything is nearby and close to the apartment, everything is accessible and it seems very child and pet-friendly in my opinion. We will surely come back here. The beaches are clean, the bars are nice, the restaurants are excellent, we loved it!

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

Povljana is growing too fast.
Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska.
For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.
