The room was well supplied with modern conveniences (AC, fridge with freezer, perfect little bathroom). The view from the balcony is stunning! The family that hosted us were the kindest, most awesome people we have met during our stay, all english-speaking! Absolutely one of the best experience of ours was the breakfast: You can order from the menu, and try their mind-blowingly tasty dishes from omelettes through various toasts (avocado, smoked fish) to sweet pancakes and a lot more! And the view from the open-air terrace/square where the breakfast can be eaten is also beautiful (harbour, peninsulas in Vis bay). We always received tips for our stay from the hosts and they were very open and friendly people. If you are staying just a couple of nights or if you plan to stay longer they are the perfect choice! We would give them 11 out of 10 points if that was possible! The location is perfect in the middle of town, every restaurant was within a 15-min-long walk radius. Thank you very much for everything!

Damir and his wife are perfect hosts: from picking up and taking us to the ferry, to the delicious fresh homemade breakfasts on the rooftop. The view is breathtaking. One can easily tell Damir enjoys having people around and gives great recommendations to enjoy Vis!
The rooms are comfortable, clean and with the necessary amenities, including a mich necessary AC during summer. There is tea, coffee and biscuits available at all times in a common space. The room we stayed at had a small balcony with view to the private pool, shared among guests.

Perfect little stay by the ocean close to best beach in town. Highly recommend this place. We stayed in a smaller room with ocean view for week. The shared kitchen was perfect for a long stay and being able to cook own meals and eating out on the terrace with the ocean view. The host was so kind, no issues with our stay.

The location is central to the shops and restaurants. The villa was cozy, spacious & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, as well as a fully stocked kitchen. The best part of the villa was the patio and having dinners outside was a treat. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely and uniquely characterful apartments with a wonderful view of Vis Harbour. Lucy, the landlady was especially helpful and made us very welcome.
Lots of stray cats down by the harbour, one of which I think we adopted!🐈⬛

The hosts were so incredibly friendly and so helpful. The accommodation was perfect. Everything worked, the kitchen was well kitted out with equipment. Especially ideal with a lovely beach about 10 minute walk away.

The island of Vis is truly very special, still largely untouched by mass tourism, which gives it a unique and authentic charm. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the island offers wonderful restaurants where you can taste local cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment calmly. The people are very friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their culture and hospitality.

Lovely little fisherman village.
Lovely little fisherman village. Beautiful nature, pebble beaches, lots of cats and dogs all around, simple life and very relaxing place (in May). Cute old buildings and narrow streets. Good food in restaurants and at the market place.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host. There was 2 beers in the fridge and some nuts which was a lovely add. It was clean and can’t fault the host or the room. However, the only thing to be made aware of is that the location is very far away from the port. It is a 20 minuet walk to the beach. A supermarket near by is mentioned however we were not able to find it. Luckily we had hired a car and were able to drive to others about 30 minuets away. There are 2 restaurants which are both lovely within walking distance but only sell fish related dishes. Would be perfect for a weekend away of peacefulness and to get away from others.

Vis is a great place to unplug and relax.
Vis is a great place to unplug and relax. The color of the ocean is mesmerizing and the streets of Vis town, Kut, and Komiza are fun to wander. We enjoyed a boat trip seeing the Blue Cave, Green Cave, and swimming at several beautiful beaches, although the water was still a bit chilly this time of year (on the plus side, the sites weren't crowded). Food and wines are fantastic, and there are so many great restaurants in Kut and Vis. If we'd had more time, we would have scheduled a wine tour as well.

Stunning part of the world.We did the hike over the hill to Beraski Beach location for a few scenes in The Mamma Mia 2 movie.Werll worth it as scenery unreal but not for those who struggle with incline or decline!!1.20hrs moderate paced walk there and back with the most beautiful crystal clear water to swim in and shady places to chill and have refreshments if you brought any!!Huge choice of great restaurants in Komiza and lots of excursions by boat to suit everyone’s budget.Food reasonable and wine delicious!!!

Very pretty island with some nice swimming areas, perfect for chilling. Ample cafés and bars however we found Hotel Issa to offer by far and away the best value for walk in meals
Good fun tracking down the Mama Mia locations.
Ferry times make it unworkable for a single day trip so you have to factor in 2 nights accommodation

Komiza is a lovely town with a great seaside getaway vibe.
Komiza is a lovely town with a great seaside getaway vibe. It's only 15 minutes from Vis Town and it's a bit more lively and definitely much more beautiful. They have the best tour operator on the island called Ames – a lovely couple who organise amazing boat trips round the island and cook exquisite food using locally sourced produce. Surprisingly, there are no ridiculously overpriced tourist traps and people are really lovely. Do yourself a favour and go there.
