Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and convenient bathroom, we had everything we needed for our stay, even a laundry room which is accessible in the backyard. The terrace was great to have a breakfast, lunch and a glass of wine with the view on marina. When you open the window you see a living postcard with yachts moving in front of you. The apartament is close to the beach, in a more quiet part of the town, the restaurants are on the opposite site which is a plus because it is close by walk everywhere. Stipe is a friendly and helpful host, you can ask him about recommended restaurants, places, etc. Bonus: there is a cat :). Lovely place to stay, we had fantastic experience of the beautiful town and island Vis.

It had everything we needed including bonus view from the waterfront of town of Vis. The host Matko was beyond accommodating with any requests we had, including firing up the outdoor wood grill so we could prepare some fresh fish from the market.

If you ever wanted to experience how it is to stay in a traditional dalmatian appartment they are the perfect choice! The room was well supplied with modern conveniences (AC, fridge with freezer, perfect little bathroom). The view from the balcony is stunning! The family that hosted us were the kindest, most awesome people we have met during our stay, all english-speaking! Absolutely one of the best experience of ours was the breakfast: You can order from the menu, and try their mind-blowingly tasty dishes from omelettes through various toasts (avocado, smoked fish) to sweet pancakes and a lot more! And the view from the open-air terrace/square where the breakfast can be eaten is also beautiful (harbour, peninsulas in Vis bay). We always received tips for our stay from the hosts and they were very open and friendly people. If you are staying just a couple of nights or if you plan to stay longer they are the perfect choice! We would give them 11 out of 10 points if that was possible! The location is perfect in the middle of town, every restaurant was within a 15-min-long walk radius. Thank you very much for everything!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was great – very clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The terrace with a sea view was definitely a highlight, perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the center of Komiža, which made everything super convenient. The private parking was also a big plus.
Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help or answer any questions. We truly felt taken care of. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Perfect for a 3 night stay. Wonderful host who is willing to put in the extra effort to make sure you have a great stay. She even let us check in 3 - 4 hours early as we arrived on the early ferry. Everything is within walking distance, great bars / restaurants and swimming spots! We hope to visit again.

The location is central to the shops and restaurants. The villa was cozy, spacious & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, as well as a fully stocked kitchen. The best part of the villa was the patio and having dinners outside was a treat. Would definitely stay there again!

Apartment is super clean, amazing vibe in old stone house, perfect location. Host is super friendly and smooth communication.
If you want to feel Komiza vibe, this is perfect place.

We live in a neighboring country and have traveled...
We live in a neighboring country and have traveled extensively in Croatia. Vis is our favorite island. The beaches are stunning, the food is great, there's interesting history, it's not crowded or over-touristed and it's not too big. I wouldn't necessarily recommend Vis for a first trip to Croatia unless it's part of a longer itinerary because there's a bit less to do on the island, but for those who simply want to relax and enjoy a pretty authentic island experience, Vis is perfect. We recommend Srebrena beach, Zaglav (a great sandy beach for kids, even though it's a walk), and Stiniva (our girls managed the hike without problem, but they are used to hiking). For food, we loved Roki for Peka and Dida Luka for fresh fish. The island is small and easy to navigate, but it's definitely best to have your own vehicle to fully explore and experience everything Vis has to offer.

Komiža is really nice place to spend your holydays, lots of restaurants and bars, offers daily trips by boat around the island and to island Biševo. Atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going, just how it is supposed to be when you are on you vacation. Beaches are really beautiful and clean. If you have a car, you can easily visit other places and beaches on the island traveling up to 20 minutes.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host. There was 2 beers in the fridge and some nuts which was a lovely add. It was clean and can’t fault the host or the room. However, the only thing to be made aware of is that the location is very far away from the port. It is a 20 minuet walk to the beach. A supermarket near by is mentioned however we were not able to find it. Luckily we had hired a car and were able to drive to others about 30 minuets away. There are 2 restaurants which are both lovely within walking distance but only sell fish related dishes. Would be perfect for a weekend away of peacefulness and to get away from others.

Great Island to visit.
Great Island to visit. We didn’t have a car but managed as a group of 6 with local taxi drop off and pick up. Milna bay a great place to spend a chill day - take a picnic. Loved the outdoor cinema and amazing ice cream in Vis town. Komiza was also beautiful. Recommend visrent for boat and skipper hire to visit beaches only reachable by sea.

Komiza has a small village feel to it.
Komiza has a small village feel to it. The architecture is beautiful to walk around the surrounding streets. There are about 4/5 pebble beaches within about a 10-15 min walk. The water is warm and crystal clear. The restaurants are based around the harbour area and provide pretty good food.
There are plenty of 1 day boat trip options available and there are 2 Scuba Diving centres in the village. There are bike/motorbike hire to explore the countryside around the island.
This place is idyllic, but don't tell anyone!

The most beautiful island in Croatia <3 Definitely will be back: Srebrena Beach, City of vis, Mala Travna, Stiniva is just woooow!! :D We have rented a scooter, and moving around the island was super easy

The beaches were amazing!
The beaches were amazing! It felt like a more family-friendly type of island, which was great. There were good restaurants. We really enjoyed it and could do a lot of boat experiences, which were great and not that expensive. The only negative thing was that the locals were not at all friendly.
