CroatiaIt is a really nice and cosy hotel, comfy beds (3 of us slept in one big and it was enough), convenient parking. It is located in beautiful nature so it kept us from boiling during heat wave, especially by night - of course the air conditioning worked great. Location wise, it is located well in that small place, bigger city is close by. We stayed for Lada Feszt, so it served us well!
Super clean, spotless. Breakfast was really a proper one, with different options. Staff very nice and helpful! For recommendation!

The restaurant was great with huge portions and breakfast was enjoyable. We wish we could have stayed more nights. We will be returning for sure.

There are two thermal pools inside and outside which we liked the most. Wide range of food both for breakfast and dinner. Also delicious. Staff was nice and helpful. We definitely come back

NetherlandsI can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding

Everything was super lovely- I’m Polish and my partner is Hungarian, we visited in April as a part or our hiking trip, stayed for 2 nights, there are some really chill hiking routes around, beautiful scenery, the house was flawless, theres nothing bad I could say, I really needed rest and this place was absolutely perfect for that. The only thing is if you are super into the sauna its worth to call the owners to ask if it is working at the moment- It was out of order during our stay- it didn’t matter to us but if you are someone who would choose this place over another because of the sauna it’s worth to make sure :) Overall, a wonderful place for a couple to stay, the house was easily big enough for a family with 2 children as well. The owners were also extremely sweet. Highly recommend

The jacuzzi is perfect with a perfect view as well.
You have your privacy everywhere.
The brekfast was big enough for regular 2 people and it was a mix of sweet and salty choices and it was delicious.

Eger is a charming historic town, famous for its thermal baths, impressive castle, beautiful Valley of the Beautiful Women, and unique minaret. It is a perfect destination for relaxation, history, and excellent local wine.

Very good hiking treks.
Very good hiking treks. Excellent home-made strudel (rétes) at one of the local delis. Locally farmed trout is on the menu of all restaurants; waffles and pizza are available as fast food.
Hikers are recommended to to see the old quarry at Bél-kő, the cave at Istállós-kő and the small waterfall on the way to the latter.
The town is home to the country's Lipizzan horses and a newish arena for equestrian combined driving.
If you arrive through Budapest/Eger, stop at Szarvaskő for a coffee at Makákó — one of the best breweries in Hungary.

It was very positive to experience that Hungarian retired people can afford staying at the hotel like this with this level of comfort.
It is brilliant that public transport ,buses to the nearest towns and places of interest can be used free of charge for Hungarians and guests from EU countries who are 65+ years of age.No need to use privately own cars, pay for parking...etc
Safety of the area, kindness of the people make vocation even more relaxing

Noszvaj is a beautiful town just below the Bükk Mountains.
Noszvaj is a beautiful town just below the Bükk Mountains. It has a lot to offer: it is worth visiting the cave-houses, the local Gazda-house but also surounding towns as well (for thermal baths, historical cave houses and the "kaptárkő" culture). Hiking is also possible. Eger and the neighbouring towns are close with various activities.

It was a bit drizzly during our stay which didn’t bother me...
It was a bit drizzly during our stay which didn’t bother me at all but I overheard some guests mentioning that there’s no cover/roof over the outside thermal baths so they were getting wet. Please replace the bulbs on the path which leads back to the hotel from the outside baths. These are open til 2am, and as I am short sighted, my glasses were steaming up and in general, it’d be safer. Overall I’ve had a very relaxing experience.

A unique cultural and gastronomical experience. Lot of traditional restaurants, top class cafes, and historical sightseeing. For the size of the town it offers programme enough, btw. it's a picturesque town.

Very expensive village compared to what's actually available. Only a few restaurants which cost the same as higher-quality restaurants in the capital, and only a few things for sightseeers. Not much to do for days in case of rain.
I'd recommend against going to the cave, because people have been doing their business inside. Szilvásvárad is good for like a 3-4 days trip, but nothing more.

We came here with public transport. From Budapest with train. Then with bus. No offered some transport/taxi for transfer. Probably because people coming only with cars.
So it was not easy for me.

Noszvaj is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful town.
It is easy to get around even on foot or by car. Check out the De La Motte castle as well as the caveflats. Choose Panorama Hotel for your stay. Most places are very dog friendly!

Eger is a charming and beautiful town with a relaxed atmosphere. The historic centre is full of lovely streets, impressive architecture, and cosy cafés and restaurants. It is a great place for an evening walk and an excellent stop when travelling through Hungary.
The town is also famous for its wines, and there are many wine cellars where you can taste local specialties, including the well-known Egri Bikavér. Prices are reasonable, parking is convenient, and the town feels safe and welcoming.
We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely like to return for a longer stay.
