The location was perfect. Less than 10 min walk to single fin/ uluwatu surf. Next door to day spa and beautiful restaurant and cafes. But very quiet considering how close it was. The staff went above and beyond for us!! Booked tours, tickets, transport etc. the breakfast was lovely and was a great start to the day. The Villa is brand new but major construction has finished. It was a highlight of our trip!

Absolutely adored our stay at Pink Coco. It was so relaxing and comfortable. We loved the little touches, turn down twice a day. The last one of the day where biscuits were left and the mosquito net made up. The first night we also had a face mask in the fridge. Throughout the day the staff come and bring refreshments and snacks around to the people laying around the pool! Breakfast was delicious!!! & Huge!!! Thank you to Eve who made our mornings by coming and chatting to us and giving recommendations for the day. Truly a magical stay and we can't wait to return, which we don't say often! Thank you Pink Coco.

The hotel - Family Paradise - is really compact so kids can safely roam around and between the zones. The rooms are recently renovated hence feel fresh. Pretty decent kids club with a few gaming stations, projector, and other activities such as boxing ring, table pool, basketball. There’s also a labyrinth and some sort of indoor playground for younger ones; we didn’t check it as our 8 yo was more interested in the other part. Pool with a slide and a small water park in another pool. Housekeeping is very good. Many restaurants along the street, with one of them being the best I’ve visited on the island. (Not affiliated with the hotel). Also supermarkets, laundries, money exchange, and everything you might need while on vacation.

Uluwatu is beautiful, all the beaches and modern restaurants...

Uluwatu is beautiful, all the beaches and modern restaurants, bars and cafe's lean more towards the coastal side, it's very easy to get around here with lots of Grab/GoJek bikes and cars driving around often, never waited more than 4 minutes for a ride. Walking around would be easy too, the sidewalks aren't too difficult however the humps and hills of the roads are definitely a workout in the hot sun. Lots of construction in Uluwatu, the streets are noisy, lots of trucks and drilling everywhere.

Nusa Due was cool, its a bit like "Bali for beginners", its like Seminyak but way less traffic and people, you won't get the great deals on shopping there, its western prices in most places, as well as in the restaurants.

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August...

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.

Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).

Great place.

Great place. Lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. My favourite was Nyang Nyang Beach which is easy to reach. It's a sandy beach with great waves for surfing. Swimming is a bit more tricky as the bottom is rocky and the currents can be a bit challenging. There is a bar for refreshment and the beach is spacious and doesn't feel crowded. Uluwatu attracts lots of surfers and that's a bit the vibe that you get here.

Nusa Dua is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday.

Nusa Dua is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. It does lack the vibrancy and hustle and bustle of other spots in Bali but as an older couple who just needed to wind down after a busy year, it was petfect.

Not quite sure if i would go back to Jimbaran.

Not quite sure if i would go back to Jimbaran. Beach, as with lots in Bali, not well looked after. The quieter end of Bali. Made Bague restaurant the best of the seafood restaurants in my opinion.

Lots of cafes/restaurants in the area plus boutiques. Cashew tree cafe is amazing! Plus Seed cafe which also has a market attached to it. Handy to have a moped to get around but take care if you do.
