A tropical paradise within Kolkata city. The experience provided is exceptional. Shout out to Priyanshu and team at the front desk, Manobi and Manisha at The Verandah and Rehman in housekeeping for making the stay memorable. Waking up every morning to the great view to Kanchenjunga was an incredible experience. The room was spacious and comfortable with cozy wooden interior and a split-level layout. There was an electric heating mat on the mattress so we never felt cold in our room during the winter time. Maintaining a property in the mountain area is never an easy task and the hotel staff has done a great job in providing a comfortable accommodation to their guests. The complimentary shuttle service to the city centre, although with time restriction, is convenient and reliable.
