We were welcomed by the lovely hotel receptionist Anna, who had such a great positive energy and so kind to also give us extra tips for our travels! In the Peninsula area, it is hard to find a good place to eat, much less to find places open past 6pm, thankfully you got a really good restaurant (Sker Restaurant) only 10 minutes away from the hotel:) Let's talk about the most important meal of the day, BREAKFAST! 10/10. They had all what a breakfast for champions needs: Eggs, Sausage, different sorts of Icelandic yougurt(Skyr), Fruits, Juices, Coffee, and much more;) And you can easily watch the northern lights from the comfort of your room, but if you wanna get even a better view, you just need to drive a couple minutes out Hellissandur (away from the street lights). What can i say, the BEST hotel we have been during our Ring road drive/trip. Room was very big, clean, had ALL like ALL possible facilities, the bed was very comfortable, they even had a PC in the "lobby" that anybody can use. When we'll visit Iceland again, only for this hotel we'll drive the road, absolutely fantastic.
