The hotel is walking distance from the Cervinia ski cable and restaurants, shops. We had a 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit and it came with a fridge/mini bar that can be stocked on request and TV in each bedroom. The beds were large and comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with a lot of moving space and views to the mountains. The bathroom is modern clean, spacious and stocked for a multi day/night stay. We had breakfast and the bread, cheese and cold cut meat was tasty and so fresh that I am still longing to go back. Ladies at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. They seem to be the family that owns the hotel and were helpful with local recommendations. There is also a drop off service to the Cervinia cable car/ski resort. Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend.Guest review byPradeepSwitzerland

The location is exquisite - in the beautiful valley at the base of the Matterhorn (Cervino); ask for a room with THAT view. They accommodate pets. But it all starts with the staff - all with excellent attention to details, helpful and friendly. Go to their bar and sample cocktails at the huge lobby fireplace or outside. It is a skiing apartment, not exaclty for couples. The village and the nature are butiful, Alpine style, not less than expected. A bar is few steps away, Cervinia is 5 minutes by car, parking is in front of the house. Unfortunatelly, we didn't meet the host, but they gave us proper instructions and directions, so we didn't have any difficulties finding it and getting accomodated. The village is located in a great spot and it’s also right next to the aerial lift to go to Chamois (very cute, quiet town to visit). The bungalow always had heat and hot water and the beds were comfortable. We were able to park our car right in front of the bungalow as well so it was nice to have it close by. Such a beautiful town!
Such a beautiful town! I felt like I had a much better spot than the other little towns nearby just because of the ease of access to the Matterhorn hiking area. I just walked out my door and it was right there, no driving necessary. I loved Valtournenche!
I loved Valtournenche! This is a small to medium village in the mountains. Lovely atmosphere when walking through the village. Tourist Information Centre for the village and surrounding area available. Plenty of restaurants /cafes to choose from and even a cheese factory! It is a cute little ski resort best for the family with small children or beginner skier. There were less people on weekdays so we did not wait for a lift at all. Driving 30-40mins you can get to the Cervino ski paradise. You will find the hotel much cheaper in Torgnon. Nice little village with lovely people and a couple of nice places to eat in the day and early evening. The shop was open most of the week and had a good range even though it was small. There was plenty of parking in the carpark for our car (and a great price for the week) at the bottom of the cable car which ran every half an hour from 7:30am to 10:30pm. Good value tickets for the two of us for 10 rides each which is all we needed for our week's holiday. The walks from Chamois were really lovely although quite hard going up and down the mountains which were quite steep but worth the views from the top. In season you can get a chair lift but we liked the challenge!! One week was plenty for us, we had a fab time and glad it wasn't too hot for our walks.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Wonderful skiing holiday.
Wonderful skiing holiday. If you haven’t a car then there is a timetable for shuttle buses to take you you to the lifts and the town. They are a public service so have a set route and designated stops. There is Only one supermarket ( in the town). Whilst ample for us it has limited supplies and shuts between 12.30 and 15.30, however fine for us on a limited budget. We ate out on 3 occasions and would say costs are cheaper than the Uk do not overly expensive.Guest review byannUnited Kingdom - 10.0
