This was a glorious place to stay. The staff (Emma especially) was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb with freshly baked breads and pastries each morning. The room was spacious, meticulously cleaned, and well equipped. The location was very good - not quite in the heart of the busiest tourist areas, but close enough to many of the major Dolomite icons (less than 1 hour drive to Cortina d'Ampezzo in our rental car).

Excellent location, near cable car for glacier Marmolada. Very cosy hotel, Corrado, owner, was very kind, explaining us all the details about Dolomiti Super ski resort. Great food, and service. Need to mention Sev, a beautiful, big fluffy newfoundlander, who was always sleeping near reception, waiting for a cuddle.

Exceptionally friendly family-run hotel. Breakfast and dinner were superb. The dining space is cosy and immaculate - with delicious home made food. Elena and her family run this hotel with passion and skill. It’s a few minutes walk from a nice little village Caprile and a 5 minute drive to the ski lifts taking you to a wonderful set of slopes. There’s a big boot and ski drying room and a cosy bar. The bedrooms have balconies and super bathrooms. We thought the hotel would be good, but Monte Civetta truly surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be back. Thank you Elena and family for a wonderful stay. Gracie mille 🙏🤗

The staff was really friendly, it is visible that they work really hard there to meet people's expectations. Even though this is a simple hotel we had an amazing experience, because we felt welcomed. The room was spacious and well cleaned. The location is great and we had an amazing view from our balcony. The breakfast was nice, with fresh produce made by them. The restaurant food was great. There are enough parking spaces and the location is great for hikers with a car. They have an ice cream shop that is a must, with amazing options and desserts.

We traveled to Italy with a four-month-old baby. Not only was it no problem, but we also got a baby cot completely free of charge. Nothing was a problem for the hotel staff, they were helpful in everything. We could park right next to the hotel, a transfer to the cable car for skiing was provided, all completely free of charge. Great breakfast included in the price of the stay, the staff was always nice, smiling, helpful and gave advice when needed. The restaurant is right in the hotel and they make great pizza. I can definitely recommend it.

Lots of closed bars and restaurants. Small groceries - ok. Not many hiking roots in winter, of course. Not so good marking of the streets, vias, hikes, routes, restaurants. Good pizzeria Deny, would recommend.

We had an absolutely perfect experience during our 5-day stay at Garni Civetta, tucked away in the stunning Italian Dolomites. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owners, a truly kind couple who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the beauty of the Dolomites. On top of that, the value for money is amazing – we got much more than we expected in terms of comfort and hospitality.

The apartment is a section of beautifully restored old house...

The apartment is a section of beautifully restored old house. We got a duplex with kitchen and big living room in the first floor and bedroom and bathroom in a floor below. Everything new and well equipped to stay even longer vacations. We were staying just two days for skiing but we will definitively visit again in summer. It is a splendid starting point for bike tours. Thank you host!

A simple and quaint little Dolomite village on the edge of...

A simple and quaint little Dolomite village on the edge of what used to be Buchenstein in the distant past. The village bar/pizzeria is worth going to, as is the Belvedere Grill and Al Crot in Selva de Cadore. The walking in the area is amazing. The drive to Cortina de Amprezzo over the Passo Giau stunning.

It is a cosy village between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

It is a cosy village between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Everyone is super nice, there are good restaurants, and amazing views of the mountains. There is a beautiful river across the village. I would recommend it for a nice, quite and relaxed stay, away from the main villages.

The ski area of Monte Civetta is a middle size region, but...

The ski area of Monte Civetta is a middle size region, but providing nice conditions for both beginner and advanced skiers, In contrary to very famous destinations, such Sella Ronda or Predazzo is not so crowded.

Stunning views of the mountains and valley. Clean, comfortable, excellent location for hikers! A wonderful, friendly and helpful owner. Located in a lovely and quiet small village. Limited restaurants but a two-minute drive to a fantastic pizzeria/restaurant.

The village didn't have much going on, but we explored around. We went to a restaurant 20 km away that I don't remember the name, but it was full of locals and the people was amazingly friendly. The name was Stua Sa Lace, in Cenci.

The place is really beautiful and serene.

The place is really beautiful and serene. It is close to Cortina D'Ampezzo city and all the nearby cable car stations but we got the room in much cheaper cost in this peak summer time. Specially strolling by the lake during sunset after whole day travel was a beautiful experience.
