The hotel is in a splendid and picturesque village. The owner and the staff are very kind, accommodating and pet friendly. Severus (their dog) is so beautiful and calm. The breakfast and dinner are very delicious. The room had balcony that looked at a small waterfall.

The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. We were staying whilst taking part in a (running) race, so comfort was really important for us- I had been worried about the description of a “sofa bed” but it was in fact a proper bed (full-sized and very comfortable), which drops down in place of the sofa. Similarly, but bunk beds are fold-away, leaving you with more space if you don’t need them. There was a great hallway area inside the apartment with loads of room for jackets/ equipment etc if you were going skiing etc. The apartment was all perfectly clean, with plenty of towels. There were french doors out onto a grassy area which was nice in the sun (with views up to the snowy mountains), and parking was really easy. The town has a couple of bar/ restaurants in easy walking distance, which was really handy. Marco was very responsive to messages before our stay, and friendly and helpful during our stay. The apartment exceeded my expectations.

Simply amazing! We received a welcome drinks once we checked in and at the reception you are welcome with freshly baked cookies. Breakfast was exceptional, continental breakfast with plenty of choice (sweet and salty dishes). We also had dinner and we had a chance to enjoy antipasti - primo - secondo and caffè all served with wine white or red. Each evening there was a different choice from a la carte. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and waitresses. We’ve been all allowed a late check out - thank you for that! Hotel is also offering a free bus which brings you to the nearest ski lifts (Fertazza).

The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018...

The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018 storm damage. Great location to jump on the Sella Ronda or just enjoy winter or summer activities in the Mountains. Not particularly a destination in itself just a nice place to come back to after a mountain excursion. Pre-COVID there were plenty of dining options, now not so much. Local restrictions prevent dining or take out after 1800, unless you're in a hotel that has a restaurant.

It was a great choice. Nice, up to date hotel with cozy and clean rooms. Great location to get to beautiful hikes around. Very nice breakfast. All stuff we met was very very friendly and helpful! We felt welcomed. Definetely recommend

We had an absolutely perfect experience during our 5-day stay at Garni Civetta, tucked away in the stunning Italian Dolomites. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owners, a truly kind couple who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the beauty of the Dolomites. On top of that, the value for money is amazing – we got much more than we expected in terms of comfort and hospitality.

A simple and quaint little Dolomite village on the edge of...

A simple and quaint little Dolomite village on the edge of what used to be Buchenstein in the distant past. The village bar/pizzeria is worth going to, as is the Belvedere Grill and Al Crot in Selva de Cadore. The walking in the area is amazing. The drive to Cortina de Amprezzo over the Passo Giau stunning.

The village didn't have much going on, but we explored around. We went to a restaurant 20 km away that I don't remember the name, but it was full of locals and the people was amazingly friendly. The name was Stua Sa Lace, in Cenci.

It is a cosy village between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

It is a cosy village between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Everyone is super nice, there are good restaurants, and amazing views of the mountains. There is a beautiful river across the village. I would recommend it for a nice, quite and relaxed stay, away from the main villages.

The ski area of Monte Civetta is a middle size region, but providing nice conditions for both beginner and advanced skiers, In contrary to very famous destinations, such Sella Ronda or Predazzo is not so crowded.

The place is really beautiful and serene.

The place is really beautiful and serene. It is close to Cortina D'Ampezzo city and all the nearby cable car stations but we got the room in much cheaper cost in this peak summer time. Specially strolling by the lake during sunset after whole day travel was a beautiful experience.
