The room was super comfortable and modern. It was clean. And they put everything you could need there. Also they host you with tea and coffee that you could make in your room and also water in fridge. Also the staff were very nice . They kindly delivered my luggage before check-in time and one of them called Marlys was super gentle and explained me everything about what I could see during my visit in Florence and restaurants bars and tours.

Nice and calm neighborhood, and a beautiful historic building, with the hotel on the 4th floor. I like to explore the city by walking, so I enjoyed the location along the river. I've found great bakeries and weekend markets nearby. Kind and helpful personnel. My room was great and beautifully designed. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. I enjoyed the local toiletry products and the local jams at breakfast, nice detail. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Everything was excellent 👌🏼👌🏼 the cottage was big enough. The environment was superb with everything you need, parks, restaurants and the beach. Our kids loved it! They are 4 and 6 y old. We went in June and it was perfect. Low season and not so crowded. The pool areas were great with everything nearby. There was kidsclub and entertainment every day! Kitchen was well equipped with new spunge and supplies for washing dishes. So great! We stayed for 3 nights but will stay longer next time when we go by car. The taxi is 20 euro from the train station and only 10 minutes away. Everything was great! We will come back again!. Thanks for a great service!

This is the place to be to experience history and art and everything great about Italy. You do have to be a bit wary for pickpockets as I could tell they tried, but with pickpocketproof pants and a vest, they were defeated every time. Just be aware. Check reviews of places before going in and if you don't see prices, walk away. Don't interact with vendors that come up to you or want something or are there "to help" without you asking first. There are so many places to see and things to do and day trip options (even to Milan like we did) that you won't ever run out of activities and will always have some new thing to try. Don't hesitate, this beats Rome by a mile! This is not a place to just pass through in a day or two, it is one you want to come back to again and again. Easy to find tours and day trips around Tuscany, and even take a high speed train to Milan for a day trip (we did).

Pisa is a lovely historic and compact town with the obvious attractions but we used it as a base for visiting other local towns - Pontedera and Lucca - both accessed easily and cheaply by train. With more time and better weather we could have explored other towns and the coast. Walking the wall around Pisa gave us a different perspective to the town and the 'Tower' as did visiting that area at night when the buildings are nicely lit and the crowds have subsided. Anyone with an interest in scooters should visit the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera - it is chock full of Vespas (and a few motorbikes) and at 5 euros for admission, its a bargin. We also had the best cappuchino in Pontedera and half the price we were paying in Pisa which still wasnt expensive compared to UK prices!

Siena is a great place to visit even who those who live in Italy. The Cathedral is spectacular and the town is super interesting history. Siena is a wealthy town, so the shopping is great and there are a lot of interesting antique, art shops. The cuisine is great and having an aperitif on the grand square is a must.

Lucca is unique in having it's walls in place which limits the amount of traffic in the town and makes it so walkable and accessible (compared to Verona). Evenings are busy with locals and people coming into the city. Weekends people walking the wall circuit. Flea market in the squares. Lots of churches to explore. Masses of restaurants, pasticcerias and cafes. Highlights: Museo Nationale di Villa Guinigi - a revelation. Botanical gardens - compact, quiet, in a corner of the walls Chiesa di San Francesco - now a college so easy access Lucca is a great base to get around Tuscany. Trains are reasonably efficient, clean and well priced try Pisa, Prato, Pistaio and Firenze. Easy for Viareggio and up/down the coast.

There's not a lot there. And when the cruise ships come in, it gets manic with people getting on busses. We'd a BAD experience with the inspectors that come on buses. They home in on tourist's, when they checked our tickets that we did on the card machine, though not our fault, we wanted 2 tickets, it gave us 1 and the called us crimenals

Prato has a lot of historic buildings, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants hiding up side streets and in the squares. There’s also a large modern art gallery just outside - worth a visit if you like that kind of art. The railway station is a hub to get to all major cities - we travelled from Rome and then went on to visit Florence, Bologna and Pisa cheaply and easily.

At 1400 m.a.s.l. the place is perfectly sited both for skiing and for walking/hiking. Unfortunately, they are far from good in advertising it. You have to find out by yourself the wonderful trails (there is a not advertised app), many going up to some 2000 m.a.s.l.

Viareggio was a perfect stop on our italy tour.

Viareggio was a perfect stop on our italy tour. A beautiful town, suburban, lovely big park in centre with plenty for kids to do in the summer. Gorgeous wide promenade with lovely shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars. Seriously picturesque town. Beach is huge, clean and incredible. It's also only 15 mins to Pisa and over an hour to Florence on train so great stop to explore. Loved Viareggio and would love to come back. Also very reasonably priced for food and drink. Loved Irenes place on the beach for delish cocktails watching the sun go down.

The restaurants are many and most are quite good, especially in Montecatini Alto. For those who like to shop, the main plaza has a plethora of sores, including high end shops.
