A beautiful place.
A beautiful place. Easy to walk around. Everything is within walking distance. The Tower and surrounding buildings are beautifully restored and sparkling. We’d recommend visiting in the late afternoon. Cooler and less busy. Walking the walls provides some lovely views. Not all the access points are easy to find. Especially the one at the far end from the Tower (but that one does have a lift). Charming squares, beautiful buildings, an abundance of restaurants and cafes. Very easy access to the airport. Just a few minutes on the PisaMover shuttle/train from the central station

Valentina was a great host.
Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk. She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the leaning tower, 5 -7 mins from train station, in a pedestrianised area, so no traffic noise, close (across the road) to a bar / restaurant, bus routes were few minutes walk, the amount of squares (Piazzas) close by was immense... Couldn't have asked for more, to quote Arny Schwartz, "We'll be back"

Beautiful city with lots of both cozy, narrow streets and bigger shopping streets. Super friendly vibe, and even though it was full of people it was surprisingly calm but still lively at the same time. Wonderful botanical garden.

Pisa is a small friendly city you can easily walk around there is a very relaxed atmosphere, and even drivers seem more relaxed compared to other Italian cities. There's an excellent train service to reach other places like Florence, Lucca, Cinque Terre, and the fabulous beaches of Viareggio. Lovely shopping district with all budgets catered for. Did not see any late-night bars or clubs and most hotels do not have entertainment, there are lots of restaurants with a great variety of food.

The city was not too big, so we did walk a lot.
The city was not too big, so we did walk a lot. We enjoyed the tower of Pisa and the properties near, mostly the Camposanto, which was nice and calm. We would also recommend visiting the Pisa Marina, which was only 30 minutes by bus. We did not find any stand out restaurants, but the staff was always nice and welcoming, and the prices good, even in the more touristy areas.
