I highly highly recommend this small hotel. It is about 10mins walk from the train station. The old man is super friendly and welcoming. He gave us free bottels of water and chocolate. The room is clean with basic facilities. The hotel also helped me keep my luggage after checkout for the whole day. On saying goodbye, the old man gave us warm hugs.

We stay here everytime we fly in and out of Pisa. Our flat is in Borgo a Mozzano and we can take the train from our town, to Pisa Centrale and walk across the street to the hotel. Perfect for landing at night for fllying out the next day. You can also walk straight to the Leaning Tower and shop along the way. The staff is amazing and we have had great meals at places they recommend. Nice way to arrive and leave.

Also known as 'Galileo Galilei Airport', Pisa International Airport sits just over 1 mile (2 kilometres) from central Pisa. You can get from Pisa Airport to the city by taking the People Mover Service, which ferries travellers between Pisa Centrale Railway Station and the passenger terminal. Trains depart every 8 minutes, from 06:00 to 00:00. A taxi to Piazza dei Miracoli (formally known as Piazza dei Duomo) will cost around EUR 12, taking about 12 minutes.

If you enjoy traveling and walking at your destination, Pisa is the place. You can walk from the train station after you take the airport tram that cost a train ticket from the airport to Pisa Centrale. Be aware that they are competitive for lunch through dinner to have people eat at their restaurant so they’re not afraid to come and approach you with their menu. Otherwise, the sites and the architecture people the Duomo was like what I would imagine Florence being. This was my first trip to Italy and I will return back to Pisa. My adult sons loved walking everywhere but we’re very active family. The gelato and the tiramisu is fantastic. Don’t be afraid to ask for gluten-free pasta, gluten-free pizza is hard to come by . We visited blu muse For 5 Euro each a very small entry for the amount of amazing art and architecture including the building. We stayed at the hotel Bologna we give it 10 stars. Did Duomo buy your tickets in advance? They do run behind on the tower but if you’re there later than 15 minutes, they may not honor your tickets. If you get your tickets through booking.com, make sure you have WhatsApp prior to your arrangements so you get your ticket to show at the venue. We visited the garden University museum, which is outdoors and it was also a nominal fee and so beautiful there is a farm to fork restaurant on the Arno, fattoria le prata. It is wonderful And affordable for the fabulous €30 for three adults total. Our favorite restaurant for lunch and dinner Lo Sfizio. They have extensive dulce and menus! GF pasta. I could go on and on🇮🇹❣️

Valentina was a great host.
Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk.
She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.

Easy acces to Pisa, Lucca, the beaches at Viareggio, trips to Cinque Terre. Very modern, stylish and functional apartment with a very well equipped kitchen.
A 2 minutes walk to a small market with vegetables, café with great ice cream and 1 km to Coop super market.
The neighborhood is nice and quite. You can enjoy the morning and afternoon sun from the two balconys.
We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, biscuits, Nescafé and great starter stuff when arriving from further away.
All in all a great place for our 3-days stay.

One or two nights in Pisa are plenty to see the main sites. Try to stay in the main tourist area close to the Tower as it can be a long walk from the other side of the river. I would recommend doing a walking tour with local food tasting included, this was a highlight of our trip.

A lovely little city, i would love to travel again sometime in the near future when the weather is more friendly, walking around in 35~C isnt the most pleasant. The benefit of the city is small, making it easy to head back to your residence should you need to freshen up or take a siesta. The food options, plenty of lovely places to visit. My person faves were Branso and Primo. Great portions, great ambience and great service. One of the main reasons i would go back is simply for the food. I actually really enjoy taking photos. So a word of advice, if you want to get great photos, get them up early in the morning before the crowds gather and the sun hits it peak and then it becomes unfavourable for taking nice pictures. For example, i got great pictures at 6am, went again around 11am, only to find huge crowds :(
