Very good bed. Just next to the tower of Pisa. Easy parking, that I reservated earlier. Staff reslly good. Great breakfast. Really good for the money.

We stay here everytime we fly in and out of Pisa. Our flat is in Borgo a Mozzano and we can take the train from our town, to Pisa Centrale and walk across the street to the hotel. Perfect for landing at night for fllying out the next day. You can also walk straight to the Leaning Tower and shop along the way. The staff is amazing and we have had great meals at places they recommend. Nice way to arrive and leave.

excellent location in the middle of everything, good breakfast

I actually returned to Helvetia specifically because my flight home was from Pisa, but honestly I was happy for the excuse, since my first stay had been great and this time was no different. I got a bigger room with an en suite bathroom this time, which was a lovely upgrade. The hotel looked freshly renovated throughout and everything felt brand new while still keeping this beautiful vintage decor that I absolutely loved. And the cleanliness was really impressive, everything felt spotless and well looked after. The view from my room was absolutely dreamy, mountains stretching out as far as you could see, the kind you just sit and stare at for a while. Location-wise you really can't fault it: - The Leaning Tower is literally 3 minutes away on foot - Piazza dei Cavalieri just 5, and everything else - Palazzo Blu, the shopping street, the train station, within 15-20 minutes. In the street right next to the hotel you've got cafés, restaurants and even a couple of supermarkets for everyday bits. The only downside is no elevator, so luggage requires a bit of effort. I heard they're working on it though, so maybe next time! Would I go back for a third stay? Absolutely.

The hotel was magnificent. It has great rooms, free parking, which is important for me, as we arrived by rented car. The staff was helpful and nice. It has a gourme restaurant. Nearby is also a very popular pizzeria ristorante La Vecchia Cascina where we had a wonderful family dinner. My mother who had her birthday also was very delighted with our stay in Pisa at San Ranieri Hotel.

The location of the hotel was close to the train station and a 10-minute walk from the Leaning Tower and Miracles Square; big and clean room, very clean bathroom, simple but satisfying breakfast. Excellent coffee! The room was beyond expectations, considering the low score received by the hotel on booking.com.

The hotel is located in a quite quiet area, in a friendly neighborhood. 15 minutes' walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. From the train station I arrived quite quickly with a bus that had a stop in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good, a lot of food and variety, for all tastes. The hotel also has a restaurant where various dishes can be served. Also, we were able to serve a cocktail in the hotel lobby.

Really convenient location for both of city center and train station. Staffs are really friendly. I like breakfast very much because of the home-made croissants.

The hotel was an extraordinary surprise for us. It is not only perfectly located in the city centre - but in a very quit area, and the staff is excellent, hospital and very very helpful. As a bonus we found a kettle and fridge in the room; they were not mentioned in the room description and were a nice surprise for us. AC worked well and was very quit. For us, the hotel was a true jewel regarding value for money ratio. We can only recommend it to all non-demanding people that do not search sterility of big hotel chains.

I was staying there with my mom on a city break and we loved it! The place was clean, comfortable and nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly ;) Location is great! Close to the Tower and to the station.

Is a very good and cute hotel. Absolutely clean, Pisa Tower nearly (5 min walking) and staff is so friendly. We will choose this one in future travels. Recomended 100%.

The staff were absolutely brilliant and made our stay most comfortable. Could not do enough for us. Even booked us a taxi to the station. The hotel itself could not be in a better location. Having breakfast looking at the Tower was amazing. We had our own terrace outside our room shared only with one other room. The room was clean and serviced daily to perfection.
