Hotel Roma is just 100 metres from Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli. Many rooms offer views of the Leaning Tower or the Duomo. Rooms are functional and simply furnished. The hotel is right in the city center, just across the road from Piazza dei Miracoli. The staff was very kind and offered us a room with stunning view to the whole Square (we were able to see the Leaning Tower, the Duomo and the Battistero). The view was even nicer during the night, so just for the view it has a 10. We arrived with an early morning flight and we were able to leave our luggage at the reception. There is a bus station right in front of the hotel that connects the city center with the main train station (Pisa Centrale). The room was exactly like in the pictures, clean, good value for the money. The breakfast was typical Italian and they served really good coffee (the cappuccino was excellent and the lady who was making it was lovely). There is also another train station nearby (Pisa San Rossore) if you want to take the train to visit the cities on the coast (e.g. Viareggio). We were able to check out early in the morning for our morning flight back home. I really recommend this hotel for everybody who wants to experience a city break in Pisa +/- Florence.

Have loves the Campo dei Miracoli ever since I first saw it about 50 years ago. This trip I walked around the Campo at about 06.00 when there was only a handful of Pisans setting up for the working day. Watching the sun rise behind the Leaning Tower and the swifts flying around the Duomo was quite magical.
Beautiful city and a great base to visit other areas of Tuscany. The Pisa Mover monorail makes getting from the airport to the city really easy. The train station is busy but fairly easy to navigate - Florence and the pretty town of Lucca are half an hour to an hour away. Plenty of places to eat and the Leaning Tower complex is stunning.
Pisa is one of those cities you must visit. The tower is fantastic as well as the Piazza dei Miracoli. I don't think you should spend too much time visiting the museums unless that is what you are interested in. There are plenty nice restaurants around. I recommend trying the Cecina and "Bomboloni" at Bomboló.
Lovely place to be, very enjoyable . Great buildings , lots to see. Food and drink [ they had draught beer ] pasta dishes ,pizzas and salads were very tasty. Tried as much as I could. Lots of walking to work it off.
Beautiful vibrant friendly architecture obviously great .. you need to spend an evening when it’s hot wandering around the city he restaurants are well priced and the evening in the square where the students collect is crazy .. they also collect along the wall by the river ..it felt safe
We came to look at architecture. That we saw. Good selection of food - restaurants supporting world fair. Public transport systems appear good - connections to the coast and Florence. Ticked off of my bucket list as a place to visit. Do not buy pre book tickets via Viator - its a rip off to visit the Tower. Its 20 euros at the ticket desk. Nearly 40 each from Viator and then they send you a ticket for a time slot you didn't request. Fail then to answer directly to any communication.
Pisa
The location is great. 2 min. walking distance from Pisa Centrale and approx. 10 min. to Pisa tower through historic center, so very nice. Breakfast was nice, cornetti & coffee. The staff was really nice, especially the manager/owner with whom I communicated via e-mail only as he/she was out of town. He/she literally saved my *** ;) when hotel in Lucca cancelled my reservation in the afternoon, just few hours before my arrival there from Pisa. He/she was very prompt and managed booking for an extra night. Grazie mille.
Our stay at the Hotel La Pace was excellent. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful and we had a good welcome on arrival. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast selection was the best we have had in Italy. Location was convenient for the station and a lovely 20 minute walk through the historic centre to the Leaning Tower and Cathedral Square. We could not fault anything. We only stayed one night but wished we were staying longer and would definitely return to the hotel if we visit Pisa again.
Pisa
Perfect location if you fly to Pisa, as walking from the airport is super easy. The rooms are very clean, we had two different rooms, one was reasonable size, the second one was rather small. Staff were very friendly, though there is no reception so make sure you communicate in advance what time you are arriving, especially if at night, so you find them. Train station is also walking distance from the hotel, so this place is a great for transit. There is an excellent pizzeria right in front of the place.
Pisa
Best budget hotel in Pisa!! The place is beautiful and incredible clean!! The room was lovely and very comfortable!!! It was a shared bathroom but it was very clean and with nice windows and decorations with all the toiletries available. A plus is the snacks and coffee machine in the bedroom!! :) excellent!! And our host lovely and kind, he gave us the best recommendations. We will definitely come back!!
The RIF looked amazing on the pictures here on bookings, but little I knew this boutique hotel would have exceeded my expectations! You don't see these kind of properties often: historical on the outside, but modern and stylish on the inside! The most famous landmark in Pisa is literally just a few steps away, and you can get parking space in a city where parking is a nightmare! 100% recommended
This hotel with elevator is well located, about 300 meters from the train station of Pisa, which is connected to the airport by a shuttle train. A half hour walk along a pedestrian street that smells of Italy gives you easy access to the Miracoli square. The rooms are small but clean. The staff is smiling and helpful. Good value for money and excellent location.
Lovely hotel in an ideal location close to the airport. Within walking distance to explore Pisa. Accommodation was exceptional ( apartment) with lots of space for our family of five. Really lovely cafe/bar on doorstep and supermarket right across the road. Staff were very helpful - very friendly. Really lovely stay to finish off our holiday in Italy.
This is an elegant boutique hotel with beautifully designed rooms in a quiet location but close to the Main Street of Pisa. The staff were super friendly and helpful and allowed early check-in to allow us to make it to our Leaning Tower booking on time. Would definitely recommend this accomodation for anyone visiting Pisa!
The beds are very comfortable. We stayed in 5 different hotels, and this was the most affordable place, and it had the most comfortable bed. The staff was extremely nice with the exception of one person. Mirko was amazing and went above and beyond to help us by explaining things to us as this was our first time in Italy.
We had a great view from our window. The room was comfortable and a good size. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Pisa tower and an easy 15 minute walk to the train station. There are also lots of shops and restaurants close by but not closer enough to be heard from the room.
The hotel was great location for both Pisa airport and train station. The rooms were bright, modern, clean and a good size. Staff were very accommodating - we were leaving before the breakfast time slot to catch a flight but they provided breakfast for us to grab and go.
I've stayed here 4 times . I use it as a base or overnight stop on my trips to Italy as its central location near airport and train station. Its very basic but lovely.. staff are so nice .. I've given a few reviews and all are different depending on my stay.
Modern, clean and comfortable. Good location close to the station and airport. Only 20-30 mins to the tourist centre on foot, so a good hotel of Pisa is a stop over on a longer trip and you don’t want to drag your cases into the city.
A real hotel with spacious room and adequate furnishings. Spotlessly clean, attention given to detail. The staff are kind and helpful. Location is walking distance to the Pisa Tower, Airport and Train Station.
The hotel has a good location and is about 15 mins walking distance from the train station. The city center, Pisa tower, supermarkets are also nearby. The room was spacious and facilities were good.
The location was perfect, parking was easy and the staff were so friendly! Out of all the hotels we stayed at throughout Italy, this one was our favorite and the perfect ending to our trip.
Pisa
The hostess were very kind; the breakfast was abundant with lots of choices . The location is fine; about 20 minutea walk from pisa tower , near train station and near airport .
