I looked on youtube before i went and followed their advice...
I looked on youtube before i went and followed their advice on what to see. Very easy to get around using buses and metro. The street cafes are not the best but they are adequate, I wasn't there to sample food. I highly recommend doing the duomo, both inside and on top, the museums, the castle and of course the gelato! Milan knocked my socks off, so stylish with majestic architecture, can't wait for next time.

We did the usual hotspots: the cathedral, the Duomo etc. we like dining out, so it took us a day to find where we liked which was pretty much on our doorstep? But Navigli deserves exploring on both sides and down side streets.

We chose to visit Milano in the seconf half of August when a lot of locals are on holiday, so - as expected - the city was deserted, which we loved. It is clean, easy to navigate and all the people we met very really friendly.

We only stayed for three days and one of those was a day trip to Lake Como which was just 45minutes by train.
Food is good. Taxis are reasonably priced and there are plenty of them.

I recommend the city as a two-three day trip for those who want to see the main attractions. There are very cozy places, but at the same time the place is very tourist-oriented in several places, which is noticeable in the local prices. The food is delicious, the people are nice.
I really liked the easy ticket purchase option for Metro public transport (only bank card) - it should be introduced everywhere!

We accidentally double booked a room and they resold one of the rooms and could not produce the room on demand(if I was paying I might as well use it). but refused to refund. Very poor form. The reason we double booked was the hotel told us our first booking had been canceled. So we rebooked. Dodgy as!

The room was very clean and decoration was good. It was the best hotel that we stayed in Italy.
I think it is a bit far from the city center but still has a subway station near (10-15 mins walking). There is also a tram nearby. So the transportation is not very difficult (not very easy too)
The fact that its very close to stadium is very nice because we also visited there as a football fan. (Milan is blue go hakan)

Great location in the heart of Milan. Really superb location with key restaurants, shops and attractions within blocks of the apartment. It is fabulously furnished, with a super comfortable bed and has a really boutique feel about it. One of the best breakfasts we had in a hotel travelling Italy for 3 weeks.

Really beautiful, clean and modern hotel with very helpful staff. Would absolutely stay here again if I was ever to return to Milan, the only downside was the location. Was a good 20 minutes away from Milan Centrale and you needed to use the metro to get into the city centre. Breakfast was also quite basic.

Nice hotel, well connected to the city centre, however on foot is quite far. Staff were very helpful, lent us a phone charger as ours broke at midnight.... Price quite high for the standard of the hotel, but acceptable compared to other hotels in Milan.

I liked that the annex rooms were easy to access with a keypad pin code. The overall location of the hotel was a plus as excellent local restaurants were close by and milan city centre was within walking distance.
