As i see it, italians know how to sell the city..i think that you can see more of the city but Turin was more beautiful than Milan. I think that they might rebuild the aeroprt, it seems old and outdated.

There is A LOT to see in Milan, both outdoors and in museums, galleries, churches. Like most of Italy, it is also incredibly tasty. However, do avoid the hot months there - when the temp hits 35 C you would be unable to walk the streets and most of the museums' A/C are having hard time catching up.

I asked for an early check-in for my parents when I did the reservation, and despite that and their early flight/hotel arrival, they had to wait to after even 15h to get their room. They even saw new clients arriving at the hotel for their check-in (way after them) and getting their room before. Like they had been forgotten. They waited 3 hours in the lobby. Not cool..... The food at the restaurant was great, but the service situation was a chaos. All waiters going around with coffees they have no idea are for which clients. Not sure to understand the organization of this restaurant situation.... Apart from that, everything was great. We often go to many different Holidays inn, but this one wasn't our best experience. I think there's a bit of tweeking needed to do at the Front desk and restaurant to get a better customer experience.

Great city! Clean, stylish and vibrant.

Great city! Clean, stylish and vibrant. Visited the Da Vinci Museum - incredible! Allow a day, there’s so much to see. Secret Platform 21 was worth it and very moving. Only discovered this one by chance and glad we visited. As you would expect the shopping is great. Also such a clean city, rubbish bins everywhere and people use them, so good to see!

Milan is a city you need a little time to get used to.

Milan is a city you need a little time to get used to. Every neighborhood has its own atmosphere, you can find quiet, green areas that are perfect for relaxing, as well as lively tourist districts full of people, shops, and nightlife. It's fascinating to see modern skyscrapers standing next to beautiful historic architecture. The city offers plenty of great places to eat, and it's also a good destination for shopping. However, Milan is definitely not a cheap city, so it's worth planning your budget in advance. Public transportation is excellent, and we never had any trouble getting anywhere we wanted. It made exploring the city very easy. I highly recommend visiting the rooftop of the Duomo for the incredible views, the Brera district and museum, and the Navigli area, which felt more cozy, authentic, and noticeably more affordable than the city center. I also recommend trying the gelato at Gusto 17 and watching the sunset near the Arch of Peace, it was one of the most memorable moments of our trip. One thing to keep in mind is that pickpocketing is quite common in busy tourist areas and on public transport. As long as you stay aware of your belongings, it shouldn't affect your trip. Overall, Milan is a vibrant, diverse city with something for everyone, and it's definitely worth visiting.

Milan was much as hoped, lots of impressive modern and historic culture. We took part in the virtual reality tour of Il Duomo which was fascinating and entertaining - it took us back to what life was like and how huge the task of building the Cathedral was. Taking the canal boat trip first linked the 2 histories together. We also visited the San Siro stadium (much shorter than the 3 hours stated but still good to do), the medieval Sforza Castle grounds and surrounding parks, cafes and bars, and wandered for hours around this amazing city. I would like another 4 days there and an empty suitcase for the fashion sales. Such sophistication!

Perfect hotel, very clean, the staff is great and helpful, facilities are great, great value for money, location is perfect - right across the central station and just a few stops from the city centre, the neighborhood is nice and quiet and you have different shops and restaurants around, we definitely recommend the hotel and we'll stay here again if we come back to Milan! ❤️

It’s an absolutely stunning apartment with quirky/industrial designs. Such a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Close to some lovely restaurants and bars. The best aircon we had in Italy! You can walk to the city centre in roughly 20-30 minutes which I was happy to stay a little bit further out.

The staff were very friendly and forthcoming. They were very keen on problem salving and helpful. The hotel is in a quite central area of Milan. From there it is a short walkway to the Metropolitana, taking you to the city centre in approximately 15 minutes.

I was visiting Milan for the concert at San Siro so this was perfect spot to stay. Near metro and nice walk (not too long) to the city centre. Nice hotel and staff. And best priced for last minute booking in high season in Milan (prices are crazy).
