We spent only one night and this time was too short. The hotel in a great location allowing to explore Montepulciano and other towns in the Val d'Ocia, as well as the whole east-southern Tuscany. The staff was very friendly and professional. Many recommendations for local attractions, restaurants and wineries. Hotel is very comfortable, well maintained, room and bathroom very clean. Tasty breakfasts and easy parking. Recommended.

Hotel staff were all very nice, helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and very well appointed. The bathroom was big, with a walk-in shower. Room had air conditioning which was a must have. Really nice breakfast which could be taken inside or out. Hotel was a 10 minute walk to restaurants and 30 minutes BA from the sights. Highly recommended.

When we arrived, the staff gave us a warm welcome and told us that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a suite overlooking the city’s central thermal pool, which of course made us very happy! The room itself was quaint yet modern, with a beautiful shower and a stunning view. After checking in, we headed straight to the spa, which had two thermal pools and was wonderful. Breakfast was also fantastic — the coffee was fabulous and the extensive buffet featured high-quality Italian produce. We will cherish the memories of our stay at this hotel for a long time to come!

There were numerous stations with may choices including fresh fruits, breads ,rolls, meats, cheeses, eggs and fresh juices as well as cappuccinos and expressos. The staff were professional but friendly. The infinity pool overlooking the hills and vineyards was stunning. We loved the wellness facility with the beautiful steam rooms, ice showers and jacuzzi. Perfect location with uniquely Tuscan view from the outdoor seated area. You know you're arriving somewhere special when you turn off the road and drive up the cypress lined track with billows of white dust in your rear view mirror. Staff were both friendly and highly professional. Restaurant was excellent, if a little pricey. Breakfast room and food were exceptional.

The whole stay was incredible. We travelled for our honeymoon and stayed for three nights, and only wish we could've stayed for more! The food was amazing and easy to travel to local towns. Great medieval city to walk. Everything is close by; taxi service was hard to get (tried to order one over text / phone and I had to run to a taxi stand. Easy to travel from Siena to San Geminiano and Volterra. Loved the city!

this is a really pretty down with beautiful surroundings. This was the best access to wineries we had had in Tuscany. The wine tastings have been wonderful. they are true experiences . I would recommend trying them out

Merigge Agriturismo was absolutely perfect.

Merigge Agriturismo was absolutely perfect. Montepulciano is close by and is now my favorite Tuscan city. All of Raffaele's recommendations for restaurants were excellent and he made us reservations. The town is wonderful to casually walk, shop, eat and drink and take in the views.

A beautiful Renaissance town in Tuscany's Val d'Orcia. Sweeping views and romantic atmosphere makes this UNESCO world heritage site a must see. From here we had a day trip to Montepulciano another famous Tuscan hill town ... don't miss this either. Stunning.

Montalcino is absolutely a fantastic place, a must go! Nice medieval atmosphere, nice people, nice food and of course superb wines. You really don’t need a car to move around in this little village. Food is everywhere nice, but of course get a bistecca if you can manage over 1 kg meat

The town is nice.

The town is nice. It is a quiet time of the year, but the merchants we encountered were friendly. The Terme Theia was ok, but the management inflexible when I tried to inform them of a booking error within 24hours of making it they did not reply to my emails, and when I spoke to the they said that once I paid there was no refund or changes. I prefer the Terme sensoriale, but unfortunately they are only open on weekends

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

THE GOOD : The location is great, close to the Val D'orcia.

THE GOOD : The location is great, close to the Val D'orcia. The amenities of this property are good, rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious enough. The bathroom etc was great. Breakfast was also pretty good, though they could improve their bread selections. THE NOT GOOD : Staff is difficult to get hold of and are not very helpful/friendly. This is compounded by the fact that (if you speak English), they are not very conversant in English. THE BAD : We had specifically requested rooms to be close by but instead we were given rooms that were a 5 mins walk through hallways, elevators and literally on opposite ends of the property.

The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.
