The hotel is new or it seems new, the rooms are very clean, good water pressure, fresh smell throughout the hotel, free and convenient parking right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is buffet style, nice variety of sweet and salty options, the cheese was in particular divine. But what I would definitely have to say apart from other hotels is the joie de vivre of the receptionist, Niccolo if I m not wrong. Hardly have I seen such a joyful man, not to mention a front desk person. He really made our day, providing useful information about the region and restaurants where to eat. Chapeau bas for his friendly attitude and the abilty of memorizing everybody's names. You feel like a part of their family and this matters a lot.

Very poor breakfast, the same every day. Coffee in plastic cups from a machine. No air conditioning or TV in the room.

Very nice good-sized room in hotel on the W edge of Montepulciano (not too far to walk, but it's uphill). Very clean and comfortable, with good wifi. A bath, which I like. I had a room at the side, which was very quiet (though no view).
La Terrazza Di Montepulciano is a comfortable hotel situated along the main street of Montepulciano, very close to the beautiful Piazza Grande, in the heart of the historic centre.

A loo with a view.
Great communication with videos sent to help show where to park and how to get to the location.
Thought at first that the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but my wife had the best sleep and was very happy.
Online check in at the time of our stay, but was easy.

excellent location, great food and wonderful helpful staff
Picturesque, clean, friendly. This medieval city boasts bars, restaurants and of course many wine tastings. Two nights is about right, but more if you want to see the surrounding area. A good home base for southern Tuscany.

I found Montepulciano to be one of the most interesting in Tuscany. It is very steep but the views are not to be missed. The winery's there are very unique. Don't miss their underground tours. The restaurants were top notch! I'm still craving the truffle pasta that I enjoyed there.

Once you've worked out how to get up to the centre it's great - my father has limited mobility, but we found disabled parking near the tourist office and the bus stop for the bus to take us up, it was all good.

Montepulciano was a charming and picturesque town that exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of local specialties to try. We loved exploring the winding streets and discovering hidden gems. The wine bars were a highlight, offering fantastic selections of local wines. We had an unforgettable time and would definitely recommend Montepulciano to other couples looking for a romantic getaway.

Wandering the streets of Montepulciano at night and early morning was peaceful, and a photographer's delight. Wine tasting bars and great restaurants and fantastic history .... what more could you want. We experienced some of our best dinners here.

Beautiful walled town with a very interesting undergound city history.
We did a fantastic wine tour with Talosa (one of the oldest in the city) through Viator.
Just outside the city walls there is an amazing local spot called Pizzeria Rosticceria Linda where we had pasta and pizza! We were the only tourists there.
It is very quiet in the evening wondering the streets with little to no tourists. I wouldn't spend the night here again unless I did a little more research into the night life.

Staff was very friendly and supportive. Offering to help carry bags from car 100 meters away, offering to carry upstairs. Staff gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, and offered support wherever they could.
The town of Montepulciano is very beautiful with goreous views all around, and this hotel has one of the best locations and staff in the town. Hotel provided reserved parking less than 50 meters away (and on the same level, not down a big hill), which made the stay more pleasant.
Wonderful apartment in this centrally located ancient building.
Has everything you would need for an extended stay on the Main Street of the old village
Host is super helpful and nothing is too much trouble
We would still be there only we have to leave Italy for home.
Montepulciano is a lovely quieter village with great restaurants and the best views in Tuscany
One of our favourite places. The most beautiful part of tuscany was within a few miles from the accommodation. Enjoyed the farm setting, the pool, the comfortable accommodation and the excellent breakfast. Best way to end off our stay in Italy. Thank you.
The hotel had a pool and spa (both at an extra cost) But nice to have available for a rainy day. The breakfast included hard boiled eggs and cheese which has been rare in other hotels we have travelling to in italy.
Everything was exceptional. Highlight was wine masterclass with Ivan and daily breakfast. Svetoni wine was delicious and location superb. Staff and a,editors were the best we enjoyed in our three weeks in Italy.
