Everything! The place is absolutely stunning, perfect location very close to the lifts to go skiing. Probably one of the best services I’ve ever experienced. They are super attentive and go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. All the food is km0 and the breakfast is excellent. The SPA is great, with everything you need, despite it being a small hotel. All the sustainability aspects of the hotel makes it all even better! Our stay was absolutely perfect, thank you!!

We are loved our stay (7nights) in MH Olen. Our suite was very spacious, light and toasty warm and ideal for our family of 4. Stefano and Anna have been so warm and friendly and so helpful arranging ski lessons for my daughter despite everywhere saying they had no availability (this week is a regional holiday). We’ve loved popping down to Stefano’s vine bar. Their description of the hotel location and proximity to the gondola lift massively underplays how great it is. It’s 10-20 steps half of which are flat!!! Alagna Valsesia is a small beautifully picturesque village and lovely to stroll around.

The lady, owning the hotel, is very gentle, she met us at 2am to check in, she was also always around and ready to help with all we need. Almost not speaking english she was always finding a way to communicate, through email, translation, or just understanding our basic needs. Very good location for the short trip to mountains, nice restaurant with reasonable pricing and good choice of quality food for dinner. Free nice breakfast was included. The clean rooms and change towels every day, which is even too much service for simple mountain stay.

Wonderfully hospitable staff who made our stay such a pleasure. The hotel is beautifully located and represents excellent value for money. The continental breakfast is generous, varied and always served with smiles. The room was warm and comfortable, including the good shower, and was a cosy place to relax together in the evenings. Storage was good, including a fairly large wardrobe with a safe. It was almost always possible to park just next to the hotel. Two local restaurants were particular highlights too: Le Petit Monde and La Luge. The wine bar in town, Eno Therapy, is excellent, as is the simple food in the two nearby bars.

I have been there with my wife and a kid during summertime. Location is very nice, just close the chairlift to Punta Jolanda, which is an amazing place to visit. The hotel has also an available parking for free, just around the corner. Room and SPA was great, clean, comfortable and simply amazing, a real lovely place where to spend time with partner and/or family. Hotel has also a great restaurante for the dinner, which was full of local specialities, and the included breakfast was awesome as well. Annamaria was a great host, I recommend everybody to spend some time there and visit Gressoney.

Swimming pool with the warm water to relax after the ski day, saunas, play room with table football, pool and table tennis. There was even a kid club where you could leave your kid attended if he is too young to ski (did not try, thus do not know details about the service). The rooms were quite nice, size could be slightly bigger (in my case the sofa was used for sleep thus occupied half of the room), but that was expected and exactly like shown on the photos. Our room was in great condition with a breathtaking view to the valley.

The staff was so welcoming and nice, and super helpful! We had some delays with our arrival which they accommodated for us, and helped out with all our questions. The location is great for skiing — close enough, but in an area with some restaurants etc. They have everything you need for a ski holiday, including great coffee.

We had a fantastic time at this great hotel. We booked including dinner, the choice was great and the food was amazing. We got great advice on hikes in the mountains, that started just at the doorstep of the hotel. A visit at the wellness in the afternoons made our stay complete. We will be back! Thanks!

Great location for skiing. With the ski bus it's very easy to get to the slopes. There is ski room and sauna included! The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They also have a nice restaurant where you can eat well.

A beautiful little town. Very quiet during the week.

A beautiful little town. Very quiet during the week. Comes to life on a Friday night when the holiday home owners arrive from the city. Close enough to the main skiing at top of valley. Great 20 min bus service, or you can drive up the windy road.

Just wanted a few days skiing with some calm evening food and drinks. There of plenty of quality restaurants' and bars to choose from. The free bus shuttle is really a good service from Gressoney St Jean through Gressoney la Trinite - stops right outside the hotel and then on up the mountain to Stafal. From there across to Champaluc or Alagna.

No lift queues, well-groomed slopes, great restaurants, good value for money. Somewhat slow lifts and relatively narrow slopes, especially during peak hours when the slopes were crowded. If it has snowed, the off-piste skiing in Alagna must be superb.

The buses run frequently.

The buses run frequently. Hotel offered a shuttle to the Punta Jolanda lift, but if you want to get stuck right into it we'd recommend driving or the bus up to Staffal lift area for quicker access to Champoluc. Little shop up in the village is well stocked - great bread, cheese, wine and treats. Also good for food-based gifts to take home.
