United StatesI really loved the location of the hotel in Canneto. I thought the front desk people, especially Valerio, were fanstastic. I needed to make a hair appointment and I was able to do so with the help of the front desk person. The breakfast was simple but very nice. I also loved the roof deck with the small pool. Very peaceful.

We stayed in this beautiful family run hotel for 4 nights. A great base for exploring all the Aeolian Islands from. We were touched by the kindness and generosity of all the staff,
(In particular the gregarious owner Adriano, Frederico who treats you like royalty at each meal and Francesco and Jessica to name a few). The rooms are spacious and meticulously cleaned by a lovely lady every morning and towels replaced as needed.
On our first day our ferry from Milazzo was delayed by several hours and we arrived at the hotel at 2330hrs. Even tho the kitchen closes at 2130hrs the staff had stayed behind to serve us a delicious meal. On another occasion our ferry from Stromboli was late returning and despite the fact the kitchen had just closed they prepared a three course meal. On all occasions this hotel goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable.
The balcony view looking out over the bays azure water & boats is delightful. The food is delicious and the 3 course menu changes each night. All meals are served on a balcony with magical views over looking the bay. The hotel basks in sun all day and there is a platform with numerous lounge chairs and easy access to swimming.
The hotel is situated an easy short walk from the town of Lipari. The hotel is very quiet and we are so glad we stayed here. We would highly recommend this hotel to all travellers who are looking for a very special experience.

On top of a little hill, the views from the terrace are amazing, the Stromboli on sight. The hotel has a complimentary shttle bus to the port. ItalyVery well placed around Piazza San Cristoforo, Canneto, 15 minutes ride from Lipari historical centre, this small boutique hotel it’s placed inside a beautiful typical aeolian house two steps from the beach. Everything it’s clean, quiet and comfortable. Francesca picked us up at the port and brought us to the hotel and back, service included in the rate. Breakfast is very good with an assortment of parties and salty things. The overall experience was super chill and welcoming. Super recommended.

Staff were lovely, relaxed and welcoming - we forgot something in the room and the cleaner and staff got in touch to give it back to us. The room was very well sized, we were lucky to be on the top floor with a great view and outdoor space. The hotel had everything needed, although the minifridge was not super cold because it's a little old but no big deal.
The breakfast was good, with pastries and some hot food too.
The negative reviews seem to only be because the hotel is dated, but there is nothing wrong with it, and it's charming the way it is.

We spent five days at Villa Giunone. Everything was amazing: the terrace from which we could see Lipari harbor and the sea and where we had dinner and breakfast, well equipped and clean kitchen, very spacious bedroom with air conditioning.
The location is in the hills above the historic center of Lipari, so you must have a car or motorcycle and it is 10 minutes from the city center but the trip is worth it!
Last but not least, the hosts are super nice and friendly!
It was one of the nicest places we ever stayed during our vacation!

I recently stayed at Casarsco Hotel in Lipari and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is a little out of the city center but still very close to reach it by foot. The view is amazing and outstanding. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean, comfortable, and with a balcony with a lovely view of the sea.
Breakfast was simple but fresh, with a nice selection of local pastries, fruits, and coffee.
The design and vibe of the hotel are very relaxed, so you can really take your time and recharge your batteries.

Ben and Sarah were extremely helpful addressing any questions we had. They were ready to book any kind of tour we wanted or taxis we needed. We stayed in Room 22 and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with a combination of sweet and savory items to choose from. Pool was lovely and the view from there was also great. We were offered the use of the pool and showers after checkout and before we had to get to the ferry.

A wonderful resort hotel with excellent staff and facilities. The pool is big and well designed and the bar staff were excellent and really knew how to make a cocktail. My room was large and comfortable with a great balcony and refreshingly cool air conditioning. You're located about 3 minutes from the main street so you're just far enough away for a stay.

The apartment was nicely decorated, comfortable and air conditioned, the breakfast rich with cake and fruit. The jacuzzi was basic but convenient for a relaxing session. The entire family enjoyed our stay at Residence Acanto.

The city and island are treasures.
The city and island are treasures. We visited all recommended sites on the island, as well as the islands of Salina and Vulcano. Lipari is an excellent place as a base to visit all of the Eolian Islands. Bad weather prevented us from seeing the other four islands, so we wish we could have stayed a few more days.
We will definitely return.

Canneto seems much quiete than Lipari, not much space for parking a car nor many restaurants. But it’s very close to Lipari for night life a restaurants

Lipari is really a great destination.
Lipari is really a great destination. The town is cool and is a great jumping off point to visit the other islands. For sure to visit Panaera an especially Stromboli by night. Bring you bathing suit. Lots of cool beaches even though many are rock. Strongly recommend going after the main tourist season. People are nice and the food and drink spectacular. Visit the castle for incredible Mediteranian history. The only downside is getting there and coming back. It's not easy and boats, buses and planes don't always run on time.

Love lipari,you can reach other islands by hydrofoil,and its not expensive as the other eolian islands,def a must stay,lots of restaurants to choose from,next time i would stay more than a week,restaurants to many to mention, bar next to the little bridge in marina longa has the best granita and brioche
