Well, the place is absolutely stunning. The idyllic country location offers tranquil views which are restful to the soul. One can take a lovely drive and soon arrive in a number of charming towns and cities. We were very happy there. Our delightful and welcoming hosts, Pietro and Angela have restored a beautiful old structure to perfection, which includes gorgeous frescos on the salon ceiling. The juxtaposition of artful modern decor with the ancient arched stone ceilings is understated and chic. Their eye for quality materials and balance in design is remarkable and shows throughout. Breakfast was fantastic every day. A delicious array of local salumi, cheeses, breads, and sumptuous homemade pastries. Also yummy yogurt and granola. They also offer optional items, such as avocado toast and poached egg for a minimal additional charge. The cappuccinos were perfect, too :) I suggest booking a suite for 2 persons, as it was a challenge to manage our 2 small suitcases in the King Room, but rooms are generally small in Europe. The room was stylish and comfortable. We are very appreciative of the hosts for their kind nature and excellent service. I highly recommend staying at this exceptional bed and breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place itself is beautiful, with amazing views, but what really made it special was the people. The owner, at 86 years old, is such a kind and generous soul. He and the team took incredible care of our kids and made us feel at home from the very first moment. Everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the hospitality, the little details. Highly recommended.

The couple running the hotel were amazing. We arrived late and they made sure we were able to get in. We also went to breakfast one hour past breakfast time and they kept the extensive breakfast food options set up for us even though we were past the time for breakfast. Wonderful people. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel even had an elevator to make getting to our second floor easy. Location from the highway was easy

We always receive a warm welcome and this visit was no exception. We travel between the UK and our villa in Lucca, Tuscany regularly and really look forward to breaking our journey at Monvillone. The location is in the countryside and it is a lovely relaxing place to overnight. Add to that the fact that the cuisine is exceptional - Riccardo is an amazing chef and the wine is very much to our taste. The room is spacious and has a large balcony overlooking the countryside. The bed is large and comfortable and we always wake feeling refreshed and ready to resume our journey. The breakfast offers plenty of choice including croissants, home baked cake, fruits grown locally and yoghurts. Very much looking forward to our next visit in July.

We have been coming to Castello di Razzano for many years, always bringing friends and family, and constantly recommending it to others. This is an absolutely idyllic spot - just magical. The hosts are gracious, the rooms are big and comfortable, the dinner and breakfast outstanding. Although we came here regularly for many years, it had been nearly 10 years since our last visit and we found it now better than ever. A wonderful addition is the restaurant within the castello enclosure. An elegant dining experience accompanied by the perfect wines from the estate. In our view there is just nothing to fault about his place, even on a cold rainy late October day, strolling around the grounds with our little dog was a pleasure.

We were visiting an event in the area and so did not visit the town centre itself, which is a long walk away (the centre has controlled access due to emissions regulations at certain hours). The surrounding area is lovely, with good quality vineyards to the south and interesting towns and villages well worth exploring; to the north across the Po are rice fields which means that the countryside there is flat!

Acqui Terme is a jewel located in the middle of the triangle...

Acqui Terme is a jewel located in the middle of the triangle: Genova, Milano, and Torino. People are friendly, the stores are nearby, and the food is calling us back. We walked the path along the Bormida River, the streets of the city, the board around the Paleologi castle. The narrow streets in the downtown are romantic and full of history. I cannot recommend one place to eat because we enjoyed every one of them.

There are no superlatives to describe the beauty of Ca' di...

There are no superlatives to describe the beauty of Ca' di Fra, located directly in the citadel of Casalborgone, in the heart of the historic center. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds and closets. My room had a beautiful en suite bathroom with a spectacular shower and was well stocked with soaps and cosmetics. If you stay here, you will be immersed in the precious silence of the Monferrato Hills, awakened by the crowing of roosters, pampered by the immense light and exquisite aromas of the Monferrato countryside. Breakfast, which consists of biscuits, coffee, tea, brioche, and high-quality milk, is a perfect match for the ancient and timeless beauty of the house. The kindness and courtesy of the hosts (who helped us find bikes, restaurants, taxis, etc.) is extraordinary. You are less than two minutes from the Casalborgone Castle if you stay here. We will definitely return.

Cocconato is a charming town nestled between Asti and Torino. It is literally 2 hours from anywhere on the northern end of Italy. You can easily access the lake region if you wanted to, go to the French border or the Swiss border. The Town itself is very cute. It is very walkable. There are vineyard to visit nearby. It's a great place to go and disconnect. The food in town is delicious. Highly recommend the Canon D'oro, the Pizzeria Trattoria Sottosopra in the town center and the Caffe Bar Roma in the center square.

Small village with a few restaurants and neighborhood stores and specialty shops. Especially lovely at night. Victoria at BAart was so helpful, very knowledgeable about wines of the region and was a big help planning our tour of the region. BAart should be your first stop before adventuring out to the many villages, castles, wineries and vineyards.

I was born in Casale.

I was born in Casale. I try and go back as often as I can to visit my sister and brother . I book a my own accommodation as I want to be independent. I like to be on my own. Casale is quiet compared to London but I like it this way now It has a variety of restaurant, pizzeria, even a Macdonalds There are a lot of churches all worth a visit especially the Duomo. It has a castle you can visit for free and plenty of cobbled streets. The walk from the centre to the train station takes you across town in the old part of town where all the council and admin offices are. The town has a market twice a week. Worth a visit for local produce and just wonder in the fruit and veg stalls. The whole time is walkable but you can catch buses if you wish. I always come with a car from the airport, parking if for free except in the blue bays reserved for residents. So be careful, you can get fined. Aperitive time is the best! from 5pm you can order any drink to be served with a plate of small bites. every different bar does their own. no dinner require. Aperitif crawl is the best. Via Roma is at the centre of the town and the most of the fancy shops. There also 2 main shopping centres on the outskirts of the town.
