RomaniaWe had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect for us, being just outside of town and easily accessible by car. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the courtyard was absolutely beautiful - the perfect spot to relax in the mornings and evenings. While the building is older, it has a lot of charm and character. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

In the woods so green and peaceful!
Shuttle free private driver to take you to the train station then take a 3.50 euro ticket and ride 35min to arrive in the heart of Florence. To me that was perfect I got to stay a paradise but daily visited Florence. We used the laundry and washed all of our clothes and dryer.
The best PIZZA I had in my Life was served in the restaurant.
Daily we had breakfast fruits or omelette is served
Many ice creams and sweets.
Will ho back!

We had a wonderful stay in the B&B located in a very quiet valley far from city centres. The surroundings of the house are very well maintained and it is enough space to relax and enjoy the day. The nearby river is ideal for taking a swim and cool down. Laura and her team were very attentive to us to feel comfortable.

The location is beautiful surrounded by beautiful hills. There are also some hiking trails that we did not try due to lack of time. They have a nice small heated pool outside and a bigger one not heated. Breakfast and restaurant were very good

there is a beautiful lake, many places to park for free or a nice marina that rents beach chairs , with full service bar and restaurant, paddle rent, etc.
there is a race track with regular events, golf course near by and a famous shopping outlet, and its only 40 min from Florence.

THE LOCATION, VIEWS, AMBIENCE AND STAFF IN THIS 800 YEAR OLD VILLA WERE TRULY AMAZING. AS WERE THE OWNERS AND SISTERS GEMMA AND VIOLA. THEY COULD NOT DO ENOUGH TO ENSURE OUR STAY WAS PLEASANT AND MEMORABLE. AND THE RESTAURANT FOOD FOR BOTH BREAKFAST AND DINNER WERE OUTSTANDING. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR A WONDERFUL STAY.

Dicomano is just the right size for good a few good...
Dicomano is just the right size for good a few good restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets.
We enjoyed a morning coffee and the corner cafe as well as delicious lunch at I'Ghiottone.
The train from Dicomano to Florence takes 50 minutes and is very comfortable.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. At €168 per night for a three-night stay, I expected a much higher standard of service and amenities.
The breakfast was, quite frankly, unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. There were no hot options—not even scrambled or boiled eggs. The selection consisted of just one type of cheese, a very limited assortment of cold cuts, bread, pastries, water, and juices. There were virtually no healthy or nutritious options, and the overall variety was extremely poor. It felt more like a budget hostel breakfast than one offered by a hotel charging premium rates.
Another major issue was the air conditioning in my room. The room was unbearably hot, making it very difficult to sleep. I informed the receptionist and specifically requested that the temperature be lowered, but nothing was done. As a result, I had three nights of poor-quality sleep, which significantly impacted my stay.
To make matters worse, not even a complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room—something that has become a basic courtesy in hotels charging this level of nightly rate.
Overall, this hotel offers very poor value for money. The lack of attention to guest comfort, the inadequate breakfast, and the failure to resolve a reported issue with the air conditioning made for a very disappointing experience.
I would not recommend this hotel and would certainly not stay here again.

It was nice charming property surrounded by beautiful landscape. And there are good places for hiking nearby . Staff was helpful , and tried to cater all the needs .
However connectivity with public transport is not widely explored by management . At 5 Kms there is railway station Vagilla which connects directly to Frenze SVN station . If hotel can provide transport from Vagila railway station it would be helpful for more tourist coming without car . As taxi service from Florence is quite unpredictable and very expensive .

If you are looking for a true Tuscan experience this is the place for you.
It doesn’t feel like a tourist spot. While you are a guest here you will feel as if you’ve imbedded yourself in the culture and its history.
We found the owner to be the kindest most helpful person that you could imagine.
Vicchio has several wonderful restaurants, you will be given recommendations and a map with directions to the best dining spots at this fantastic resort. You can trust their recommendations.

DICOMANO is a perfect place to have relax for everybody who need a full peace and nature after busy days. The panorama and the fresh air are excellent and wines are also delicious! After city tour in massed Firenze it was a great relax here! Perfect place for children to be off line!

Friendly, peaceful town within 30Kms of Florence. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, bakery and gelateria are all here for you if you don’t feel like travelling. People are friendly, area is safe, views are amazing, prices are reasonable.
