I have stayed in many a 5 star hotel but never been made to feel as welcome as at the Sayonara by the staff. They took a genuine interest in what were wanted and gave great advice on what to see in the area. The suite felt brand new and every part of the hotel was immaculately clean. Views over the mountains and the sound of cow bells. Breakfast and dinner were indulgent, providing much more than we needed. The breakfast choice was extensive. The spa and pool overlooking the mountains were a great experience and we had no problems booking massages. Massage rooms were fabulous and treatments much less than we paid elsewhere in the Dolomites. Would be very happy to stay again.

We found the hotel very cozy and “traditional”. The staff was super friendly and always available to give us suggestions/help. The wellness area is little but with everything necessary to enjoy and relax after a hike or a day spent skiing. The breakfast (from 08:00 to 10:00 am) was diverse and generous. The room was always clean.

The staff at Albergo Vezzana were fabulous. So welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The rooms and whole hotel were very clean. We were lucky to have one of the newer rooms which are beautiful with gorgeous modern bathrooms and lovely glass balconies. Our children’s room was older and more tired but still perfectly nice. The ski in and ski out facility and use of the boot room with heated boot warmers was great. The food at breakfast and dinner was fabulous, and our combined restaurant and bar bill felt very reasonable. We cannot thank the hotel enough for a wonderful family holiday.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at this Hotel. From the very beginning we felt extremely comfortable and well looked after. The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff is genuinely friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere is truly luxurious, warm, and relaxing. Every detail reflects care and high standards. This morning’s breakfast was excellent and deserves a special mention: very rich, varied, and well organized. There was a wide selection of fresh products, both sweet and savory, high quality ingredients, and everything was beautifully presented. It was a perfect way to start the day. Dinner was overall good; personally, I did not particularly enjoy the monkfish I was served, but this is clearly a matter of personal taste and does not detract in any way from the overall experience. Hotel Letizia fully deserves a solid 10 out of 10 for the quality of the stay, service, and atmosphere. I am absolutely sure I will return in the future and gladly recommend it.

We had an amazing stay here. The place was perfectly located for us and the owner was incredibly accommodating to our dietary requirements (one coeliac) and needs. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, as was dinner. We would highly recommend this place

Needed a night for a rainy day on our AV2 walk and this was great value with a huge bed and lots of hot water. The breakfast buffet was huge. And the location was central and 7 mins walk from the cable car. The staff were super friendly.

Fantastic location for family skiing.

Fantastic location for family skiing. Saves you driving to the lifts. Most of the lifts and slopes connect so good choice of runs and making good value of ski pass. Plenty opportunities for shopping and dining although can get busy/oversubscribed and times so reserving tables highly recommended.

There's an physical rehabilitation center in the town, mostly seniors who are ill. With 270 deg of fabulous often snow covered mountains, I wouldn't want to get well too quickly. All Italian but still very Alpine charm, just on the edge of the Sud Tirol area with 3000m+ mountains in the backdrop.

1. Hotel has a retreat setting. Cozy, quiet. It's good for a few days stay to escape the daily stress. Food at hotel could be better. Bare spread of breakfast buffet. Amenities is a good 15-20minutes car ride away. Not so convenient.

I loved the house and the whole area, which is really beautiful. You are surrounded by mountains and forest, it is peaceful and a great place to recharge your batteries. I recommend masquito netting at the windows and turning on the heating in the mornings and evenings in mid September. This is a self catering location, very remote, the access to it being done on a narrow steep slope. As the nearest shop is about 4 km away, tourists should bring with them plenty of supplies. There is a small bar/restaurant in the next village, but it's open only in the afternoons.

This is a lovely town with lots of little shops to potter...

This is a lovely town with lots of little shops to potter around. The hot chocolate and cakes in Piccolo Bar amazing! People in general were very friendly. Nice restaurants and Pizzerias. Even if you are not skiing, a trip on the gondola and cable car to Rosetta Col is spectacular for the views panoramic views and the little cafe there.

We came to San Martono di Castrozza to trek in the surrounding mountains with the family and the area did not disappoint, we found hiking routes of intermediate difficulty and had a great time. The food in the area was really good too, would defineately come back
