The B&B is really pretty and perfectly taken care of. The family is AMAZING. We went out hiking in the morning and stayed out all day, upon our return they were genuinely happy to see us as they were getting nervous that we had gone too long. Also, GREAT advice on the best hikes around. LOVED staying here :)

The food for both, dinner and breakfast was amazing. Everything was prepared with a great attention to detail and of the highest quality. Breakfast offered a great variety and many homemade goodies. We opted for the halfboard stay and had dinner included in the price. The dinner was a 4 course meal which was very tasty. The outdoor seating area is also extremely comfortable and invites to sit in the sun and sip a cup of coffee. A great and traditionally ladinian place - one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip.

It was modern facility with nice fit out , spacious rooms with smart layout and beautiful view on the mountains. Downstairs is nice restaurant with Italian cuisine. Personal was super friendly and helpful especially considering we were traveling with small kid. Also if you seek for property with good accessibility by car and real ski to door experience put this to your short list

Corvara in Badia is a beautiful and peaceful destination...

Corvara in Badia is a beautiful and peaceful destination with spectacular mountain scenery, perfect for cycling and enjoying nature. Our favourite places were the peaceful centre of Corvara and the scenic cycling routes through the surrounding Dolomites. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and excellent coffee at Garnì Tofana. Corvara is well connected and easy to explore on foot or by bicycle, with convenient local bus and cable car connections. Cycling, hiking, exploring the mountain trails and enjoying the spectacular Dolomite scenery are perfect activities for a group of friends and family.

San Vigillio is small place, in a long rather narrow valley...

San Vigillio is small place, in a long rather narrow valley in south Tirol. It is very much tourism oriented, with several hotels, restaurants and shops. We went in summer and it was hot during the day, and refreshing during the night, with light refreshing breeze during hottest parts of the day. (We were during the heat wave in Europe.) If you like to walk, hike or climb, this is a good place to be.

Colfosco is great for the views.

Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.

Great place.

Great place. We chose it for it's location, but were really impressed by the amenities - restaurants and shops in particular - which exceeded our expectations for such a small town. Will definitely look to stay there when we're back in the Dolomites.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.

La Valle is pretty close to ski areas - 15-20 min by car in any direction: Alta Badia, Corvara and even Kronplatz Bus stations available, too. My vacation was for skiing only and it fulfilled my expectations.

One of the best locations to explore the nature around the...

One of the best locations to explore the nature around the Sella massif. Pisciadu and Piz boé are accessible with a really short drive and some hiking, and the Puez-Geisler plateau can be accessed directly without any driving. Mountain biking is fantastic in the area the majority of the trails are located Arabba-Pordoi-Canazei area and in Val Gardena. For road cycling Alta Badia is a perfect location, Passes like Falzarego, Valparola, Giau, Gardena, Sella, Pordoi and Fedaia are in the area. Skiing is also fantastic, the snow arrives quite late in these years however, so while you can ski on piste from December, for touring and offpiste March and April are better.

Had the best stay at hotel

Had the best stay at hotel Mareo while doing hikes in east Dolomites- not far from the best places to see and an absolutely perfect place to come home to. Unbelievable. Hotel aesthetics were top notch and town is v cute. Pool is incredible and staff is super friendly. Couldn’t recommend more , 10/10.
