I had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and has a lovely view. The food was delicious, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a mountain, and while the drive up is a bit challenging, it adds to the adventure and is definitely not a problem. I’ll definitely come back again!

Absolutely loved our stay, and the hospitality from Michil, his family, and the entire team was a huge component of this. They go the extra mile to ‘surprise and delight’ guests. Our first evening we were invited to join Michil and his wife for wine and apps which was such an unexpected treat. Rooms were thoughtfully done, great outdoor sitting space, lovely sauna facilities and lots of options for drinks and dining. But Michil is the star, taking the time to connect with guests, offer hiking suggestions and generally just check-in and say hello. I would highly recommend and already thinking of how I can return!

The breakfast, 4pm buffet, and dinner were sensational! We couldn’t have asked for more. The facilities are incredible and the hotel is in a great location for driving to different top sights: Tre Cime Lavaredo, Cinque Torre, Vajolet Towers, Seceda Ridge. We had an amazing time. The staff are brilliant and were so attentive at mealtimes. 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent dinner and breakfast, very nice outdoor pool and sauna, indoor SPA is also top notch. Nicely located close to the main attractions this hotel allowed my family to enjoy a couple of days in Dolomiti and explore the area. We would definitely come back. The staff was super friendly, we felt just like home!

The hotel was lovely. Great location and would be even more amazing in winter. The half-board was great value and the food was excellent. Breakfast had a great choice and the dinners were top notch. Rooms spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub were also fabulous with amazing views.

Everything about this hotel was amazing- the location, the comfort of the room, the food (half board was effectively 5 courses of beautifully prepared and presented quality food). But the staff are its greatest asset- lots of smiles, help with walking routes and a shuttle to near by town.

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other...

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.

If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian food

Clean hotel . Nice pool . Shuttle bus to ski lifts . Middle of nowhere .. no nice town . Drive too hard to get to cortina really . Got ripped off at this hotel as new year . Then they closed dinner off for us on New Year’s Eve unless we paid £190 euros each for a special meal. A bit money grabbing . But nice place . Wouldn’t reccomend for position if you want to have a nice town to visit nearby.

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.

Colfosco is great for the views.

Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.

Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.

Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.
