I loved staying at this property and will book again. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The rooms and hotel had a lovey beach feel with stunning views of the beach. We loved our stay at Knai Bang Chatt, a beautifully restored group of colorful colonial houses. Everything was impeccable: the beautifully decorated rooms with sustainable paint and products, the very nice pool and spa, and the lovely restaurant area with the long wooden table we enjoyed,, safe for kids to run around in the grass around. Every meal was excellent and products were carefully chosen. Breakfast was perfect: good coffee, fresh juices, daily baked bread, many fruits, yogurts and different dishes to choose from. But most of all, we were touched by the kindness of everyone at the hotel and particularly MP who made our stay unique. We felt quite safe and at home in this wonderful hotel we highly recommended. For longer stays: many options like daily yoga, water sports and excursions to enjoy the area.

I only stayed one night but would have stayed longer. Really lovely owner who was super helpful booking my onward journey to phu quoc. The property was really quiet at night but well lit so you could find your way to your bungalow. Hot shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was great (with proper butter!) and strong coffee. The pool area was great and very spacious. Thanks for having me!

A couple of days is plenty here.

A couple of days is plenty here. Walk, bike or scooter around the national park with bikes or scooters rented from the crab market area. Tons of restaurants all along the water. Nice sunsets, but poor beaches. The one beach in town has uninviting water

It's still quiet - I went during the week - and I hadn't...

It's still quiet - I went during the week - and I hadn't been since Covid-19. Some things are the same and others have changed! I hope in the future that it won't change too much. I had a great meal at Captain Chaim, which was recommended. The restaurants by the Crab Market have become very expensive ... I did a tuk tuk tour of about 2+ hours. Went all along the coastal road past the mangrove forest, saw fishing boats, people selling their catch by the side of the road, Angkol Beach and the now disused salt fields by the sea. Apparently the salt fields have been moved and I was told that the land will be sold for "development projects." I can't post any photos unfortunately because I am using my laptop. There is an error on the booking dot come app and I couldn't post on there from my phone, which was very frustrating.

Kep is a really small town connected to Kampot by a busy little road. Taking the TukTuk along the beach road is beautiful, lots of interesting little shops at roadside. The seafood is fresh and lots of it. Checkout the market, excellent variety of seafood.
